Alpha Fleece Pant

I’m a huge gear nerd. This is one of the nicest layering pants I own. Fantastic as a warm base layer on a cold day under rain gear or waders. Even better after a day hunting or fishing around the camp fire paired with the Alpha Zip hoodie (also exceptional). I find myself trying to find a reason to wear them around the house as they are so wildly comfortable. The tapered fit is great. Not that it makes any performance difference, but the waist line is grey and not the same color as the pant on the clay color. Highly recommend.

Drawstring needs work

These get two stars from me due to the thin drawstring - a built in low profile belt would be best or add belt loops. Fantastic warm fleece pants but needs a better solution for cinching the waste down.

Perfect match

These pants with my Delta Zip waders is awesome. Warmth, and versatility to wear in the truck after the hunt.

Good pants, fit is a little snug.

Overall quality is excellent, materials are great and exactly what I wanted for an under-wader pant. Sizing is a bit small in my opinion and especially tight in mobility in the hips.

Very comfortable sweatpants. Wish they came in talls as I am 6’1-2” 190lbs with longer legs. These will work I think as I will work short boots with them most of the time. Usually I have to order a large even though I have a medium (31-32” waist) because I have larger legs. Note that the crotch is short. Will see if they are worth the comfort, they are really expensive to have these issues.

The fit is great. Mobility is great. Big fan of the gusseted crotch. Still too warm to really test them but if they're anything like the Alpha Fleece top, I'll be happy. Just like with the top, I went with the XL so I had plenty of room to layer underneath.

I always wear an XL in everything I buy. With these everything else about the pants besides the waist fit great. I had to always tie the draw string to keep my pants up. Other than that these are vert warm, comfortable pants that work great for casual wear or as a thermal layer. Happy with my purchase.

Comfortable

Warm, great for layering, and nice material. Was looking for a warmer pant for colder days in the stand as jeans and a base layer just wasn't cutting it. These fit the script perfectly. Went with a size medium. A little loose in the thighs but expected with a standard fit it comes in. Another quality Sitka product.

Unexpectedly my favorite pants

I bought them to use on ice for hockey coaching, they are amazing for this. Although, they are warm, breath well, articulated fit, and more comfortable than sweat pants. I wear them all the time, and I will also use them under my waders and deer hunting overalls. By far, the best pants I own. I have 3 of them now!

Great for casual or under waders

I have been waiting to find a casual pair of pants that would be warm for those crisp fall days but also would work great to wear under waders. I'm not someone who wants to wear a bib under waders. I can use these for waterfowl or deer and I know it will keep me warm in the marsh or stand up. I always go with solid colors except for my outer most layers because I can use them casually.

Wader/Everyday pant!

Got these primarily for wearing under duck waders but they are so comfortable I wear them daily! Really good fit, they don't bunch or rise at the ankle when in waders. Great for walking the dog on breezy days too. Would be nice if they had a fly but other than that these are solid!

Only 4 stars cause of the fit. Felt a little around waist, then slims down to upper thighs. After that fits was great. Comfortable, warm, and blocked the wind nicely.

Pant review

Wore these pants as a base layer below an outer rain pant while fishing and spring black bear hunting in Alaska. Average daily temps were in the 40s to 50s and my legs did not get cold the whole time. Along with keeping me warm they were very comfortable to wear all day long while hiking through the mountains, fishing on the boat, or glassing side hills for several hours. I was very satisfied with the quality and performance of this product.
