Ambient 200 Jacket Reviews

Ambient 200 Jacket!!!

I live in South Dakota and spend a lot of time in a tree. When it's downright cold I use the Ambient to layer under either my Incinerator or my Fanatic jacket. Zero-degree temps can break you, but layers like these keep me in the tree when most aren't.

jacket

good

Almost perfect

This jacket is simple, comfortable, and fits perfect. There aren’t many tall fitting jacket options in the optifade elevated II colorway and I’m happy to have tried this one out. Yes it actually is tall fitting and longer than the stratus jacket. Features are simple and work well. I love the cuffed wrists, waistline strap, and overall feel of the jacket. It’s extremely lightweight. I just wish it was windproof and had a more robust exterior so I could wear this as my outer layer. Also, the camo color is slightly off (brighter) than my other gear in the optifade elevated II pattern. Not a huge deal for me.

Ambient 200 jacket

Have wore this jacket by itself in 50 degree all day sits, keeps you warm and very easy to roll up or stow away until needed.

Great Jacket

Perfect mid layer but i wish it had a hood understand this is the purpose of this jacket.

Ambient 200 jacket

Logo was already peeling off when I got it

Gamechanger right here. I went

Gamechanger right here. I went with Large Tall and feels real comfortable, fits great. Keeps me warm with just a baselayer up to 50 degrees. Then through a puffy under or sweatshirt and it takes you even further. Would need a windbreaker like the Jetstream to cut wind, but overall great piece for 15mph and below

Ambient 200 Jacket

Love the jacket.

Fit perfect

Unbelievably great product I would expect nothing less from Sitka

Ambient jacket

The new color seems to blend in perfect and jacket is awesome. I will continue to only buy all my hunting gear from Sitka.

Awesome!

Awesome!

Light weight and warm

Very warm jacket for the weight of it , very comfortable

Great Jacket

lovely jacket, wears both on its own and as a second layer

Worth the hype

Great mid layer for stand hunting. Regulates temperature on walk in and hold in warmth once you reach stand. 10/10

Best jacket ever

I’m 6’ 3” 205, fits me perfect, inside of jacket is crazy soft/comfy. Only worry a bit about external material ripping easily

Review

This jacket is amazing to add to my collection

Pro use

Great clothing

Ambient 200 jacket

Excellent fit.

Great all around jacket

I have two of these. I use the 150 for hunting and the 200 as a fall jacket here in the Northeast. It is a must have for both. As a hunting piece it breathes better then anything I have ever used. But it is incredibly warm. If you use a jet stream jacket it will handle most temps above 20. Overall I would recommend!

Great product

Awesome jacket. It’s extremely warm and very lightweight. I just wish the 200 came with a hooded version. But still a solid 4. 5/5.

Sitka DELIVERED on the Ambient 200!

I literally just sat in a tree last season. . . FREEZING. . . in a Southern Mississippi Deer Hunt thinking . . . I sure HOPE they make a Thicker/Better version of the Ambient Jacket. . . & guess What?!? Sitka Delivered on an ABOVE & Beyond . . . NEXT Level Ambient for the Colder days. . The Perfect FIT for UNDER my Stratus Jacket or a stand alone jacket! thanks Sitka!

Good jacket

Wore this a few times so far. Early November bowhunting in Central WI. mid 50 high temp, low 40's, low temp. Fit is good, stayed warm with just a tee shirt as base layer. Plan on wearing a down vest for base going forward as temps cool off here in WI.

Ambient 200 jacket

The perfect jacket for temps in the 30’s to 50’s Absolutely amazing quality. Great fit

Solid Mid Layer

Bought this jacket for backcountry elk hunting in Wyoming. Worked very well under a windbreaker layer and by itself. Very light and packable and surprisingly warm for how minimal it is. I do wish it had a little more loft/insulation, and it would be perfect for the temperature range I hunt in.

Good purchase.

Very comfortable, nice layer of insulation that’s not bulky at all. Would def buy again.

Love the Ambient

The Ambient is by far my favorite line of gear from Sitka. The Ambient 200 is a little heavier/thicker compared to the 100 jacket. Will be a great cold weather mid/outerlayer.

Great jacket/Mid layer. I need

Great jacket/Mid layer. I need at least 1 more for everyday. Xxl in size and fits perfect

The Best jacket

Awesome jacket! the sleeves where a little short. if your a taller person I’d recommend getting large tall

Great all around jacket!

Great jacket, fits well and is pretty quiet. Great for hiking around in the backcountry, it’s breathable for hiking but still warm for sitting on a ridge line early in the morning.

Unbelievably perfect

Very versatile and comfortable

Warm light weight jacket

My go to for the field and around town.

very comfortable and fits well

One of my favourite pieces.

One of my favourite pieces. Very warm and breathable for the walk in & layers well under my stratus jacket.

Great jacket

Great jacket

Favorite Sitka Piece, My most recommended item to others.

Ambient collection is what I recommended if you only have enough budget for one piece, or their first piece. I bought the Ambient 200 for everyday wear because I already owned the Ambient 100 hoodie, which I am really happy with. Secondary reason is I can combine the two pieces if needed due to their small form factor. Pretty quite shell for stand alone outer garment when not traveling through thick environment. I have got to use both pieces this year in high 30s and both impressed me (Indiana). The 200 is significantly thicker, less packable, and warmer then the 100. But with that being said I don't feel my self overheating/sweating when tempatures rise again. The fit is perfect for me, length of sleeves and cuffs,as well as waist length. Most upper garments from sitka fit me well it's the lower extremity items I see the most fluctuations with. I really like the hood on the 100, but currently 200 does not have that option which for me is a con. Color options are great I purchased pyrite for this one, so I can use everyday wear or while hunting.

Ambient jacket

This jacket is awesome. Super lightweight and packable. I use it as an outer layer over fanatic hoody and I can get well into November. Great piece and nice for a saddle hunter as well

Great jacket

Light weight but packs the warmth you need on those cold days.

Favorite coat!

Love the coat. Fit is true to size. It’s my favorite piece of kit.

Ambient jacket as xl

Great fit . Very comfortable jacket

Ambient 200

Super warm and the weight is amazing. It has almost no weight to it what so ever. I do not know the durability yet but will be giving it a good test with this colder weather moving in.

Had to make it due

I ordered a XL but it came too small. There were no 2X available at the time . I tried and tried. I was leaving for a hunt and needed the jacket so I had to order 3X. To big hit my string off the oversized arm and missed the buck of a lifetime. I was indeed warm

Ambient Jacket

I purchased this jacket amongst other items for an Elk hunt in New Mexico and the first day out the left shoulder began having fabric fray and tear exposing the inner lining of the jacket. I love Sitka gear but this was not acceptable quality for the price and quality I expect from Sitka.

Jacket

Very nice jacket and very warm

Ambient 200 Jacket

Super light but very warm. works great alone in early season or under my Stratus jacket. Packs small to fit in my pack for the walk in.

Just like all Sitka products

Just like all Sitka products the fit and quality are spot on. I bought this as an warming layer for tjis years hunting and skiing seasons. I plan to use it on my Michigan late season hunts also. Warm, light weight, packable. Just right for my needs.

Feels warm

Feels warm and can't wait to use it under my Jetstream jacket in a up coming elk hunt
