Core Merino 120 LS Crew Reviews

JUST RIGHT

Perfect under a Jet Stream jacket or Traverse hoodie. Works well as is in warm weather. Face guard is an odd fit but works.

Nice base layer. Comfortable and does the job.

Nice Shirt

Havent wore it out in the field yet but fits great and like how its not super tight. Seems like it will be a very comfortable skin layer.

Merino crew

Great layering crew. I had it on under another Sitka shirt and as the day got warmer it’s what all I needed. Lightweight, soft and comfortable. I will wear this crew on every hunt.

Worth the investment

This shirt is incredible. I’ve been wearing it the past few nights scouting deer in hay fields and it fits and works just perfectly.

Very warm yet whisks away

Very warm yet whisks away the moisture so always feeling dry. It is amazing, no matter how much you sweat, at the end of the day you do not feel sticky when you remove the garment!

This lightweight shirt is perfect for warm weather day concealment or for simple layering.

This is a very soft

This is a very soft , comfortable, lightweight, and highly breathable merino wool base layer. I got it in a neutral color so I use in every day wear. The XL fit was spot on. As with all the other SITKA gear I own. I’m very happy with the purchase.

No sweat

Very lightweight and comfortable. I believe it is advertised as a base layer but I see it as a bow hunters dream. Love the thumb holes in the sleeves

FANTASTIC BASELAYER

The Core Merino 120 LS Crew is my go-to baselayer. I’ve used it for everything from fly fishing to archery elk, and it’s been solid in all conditions. It dries quick, stays comfortable, and keeps you warm during those cold mornings and evenings. This has easily become a staple in my outdoor clothing setup and something I grab every trip.

Fits exactly how I feel

Fits exactly how I feel like it should. I’m more a “cornfed” build but still a large guy.

Core 120 merino

Used core 120 merino as part my layering system in place of core lightweight hoody on cooler days. Very nice.

Great first layer

Great next to skin layer, seems to breath well in warmer conditions but surprisingly adds a good thermal barrier in the cold. Fit is true to size and I would definitely buy again.

Great purchase

Always love everything we buy

Very soft shirt

Nice quality merino base layer

Merino 120

Quality product, my only immediate improvement might include more seamless feel along the arms. Feel like when I was layering the seam was very noticeable and semi annoying and rotating around.

Merino crew

Nice shirt. I did try it on. The fit and feel is very good. I will be wearing it this spring for turkey season.

Merino 120

The long sleeve and short sleeve merino 120 shirts are my favorite wish they made more colors

Layers

Sized just right for layering

Warmth

Fits true to size for me as a XL. Also very warm for those cold hunts.

Thumbs up!

Shirt is exactly what I was looking for, fits well and has good durability!

Great top

Works great amd fits like i expected, always great quality

Great Merino Quality

Lightweight and wicks moisture well. Soft feel and works by itself on warmer days and as a layering piece on those colder days.

Layers

Great product for layering and hot afternoons

Excellent

Another excellent purchase of the best gear. Love the vest and jacket too.

Excellent crew

I have both 100 and 300 series and only once did I need to wear combined (negative temp weather). During cool weather, the 100 series is awesome. And during freezing weather, the 300 series worked great. Both, under a lightweight goretex jacket. These enabled me to dress as light as possible and layer 9nly when required. I highly recommend these crew shirts.

Love this LS Mericon crew

The piece is very warm and does not retain odor. I absolutely love this LS. Runs true to size.
