Core Merino 330 Half-Zip Reviews

New to me

I'm addicted to base layer stuff, I am a full time guide in Minnesota and spend my life outdoors. The base layer stuff is priceless, what a great add on to the line.

Warm and comfortable

I wore this piece all through the cold weather during the whitetail season and it works great! Wicks away sweat and keeps me warm. Keep up the good work Sitka!

Excellent

I have this shirt in two colors. The merino is warm with out being too hot. This shirt is their heaviest weight (330) and I prefer it over the light weight shirts even when temps are rising

Merino 300

Great base layer addition, works well with the traverse set and mountain set. Looking forward to late colder season but his far it hasn’t disappointed.

Great Warmth in Cold Conditions

Was on a recent elk hunt averaging between nine and 10,000 feet. Gusting wins at times and blowing snow didn’t do anything to get me cold. This Core Merino 330 is the way to go.

Nice under layer for cold

Nice under layer for cold weather activity.

Merino 330 Half Zip

Got 330 but it didn’t seem that much different from the heavy weight Sitka base layer I already owned.

Great midlayer

my go to midlayer. comfortable and warm. Midlayers with hoods just get wet in the rain.

Great Buy!

Warm, comfortable, and breathable. Wore it all season. Outer layer down to a midweight layer. Did its job.

Handle with care

Form, fit and function this is a great addition to any system. It’s fits true and does what it’s supposed to do as good as any layering piece I have ever owned. Be careful when drying this top though, even on my dryers lowest delicate setting as recommended on the tag it still shrunk to the point where I will have to hang dry it, which can be difficult late fall in Wisconsin.

Great temperature regulation

I wore this piece deer hunting in Wisconsin. It was a relatively warm season, this piece kept me warm, dry and comfortable. It handled the variation in temperature prior to sunrise through the heat of the day.

Great product

I purchased this half zip to supplement my base layer. The fit was (sleeve and waist length) was perfect. Breathable but warm, it fit into my layers for different times of the year.

Love it, perfect for layering

Love it, perfect for layering or wearing by itself.

Warm

Difference maker on cold days. This was the piece missing that I needed to keep warm on those cold days. I mean ice forming snow flying cold days. Not 40°F. Like 12°F. The only issue is they insulate too well so paddling with it on can get you lathered up. The zipper is handy to help cool you down.

Great gear as usual

I got the timberline pants because I wanted something with more durability than the Traverse ones and they didn't disappoint. And the 330 merino is amazing. Perfect mid layer for a wide range of temps.

Awesome

Warm and super comfortable. Was never a wool to skin contact person…not anymore! Will be ordering more of these to replace my other base layers!

Warm and light weight

The warmth to weight combined with how it helps to remain flexible and mobile in the stand set the half zip apart
