Love this jacket. You can run it with casual wear or out in the rain when you trying to shoot green. Very light and definitely water proof.

Sitka dew point jacket

I'm 5'11" 195 lbs with a muscular build and went with an XL to layer underneath. I'm able to wear a fleece mid layer and down puffy underneath. It seems really well built and can't wait to try it out this fall

Dew Point XL Men’s solid Black Jacket

Such a nice light weight, durable and pack able jacket. This is my second. I have one jacket in Subalpine for bow hunting and this one for those days you just want a solid that keeps you dry and out of the wind.

High quality, functional

I’m a fly fisherman in the NW, lots of time spent in rain. This is the best rain gear I own. Sheds water, breathable, light. Didn’t wear it on a recent deer hunt as it is noisy. Also runs a little smaller than the marketed size. I’m 5’11 175, medium is tighter than I expected it to be. Maybe I should lay off the beers.

This is my favorite light weight rain jacket! Very durable yet light and great wind blocking. This is the second one I have owned and may buy a third in a solid for daily wear.

Canadians beware!

I just received it and have yet to test it out. Looks perfect as is. The only thing about Sitka has a whole (and not this jacket in particular) is boy o boy do you get screwed heavily when you’re a Canadian customer. There was an extra bill worth 50% of the item’s worth coming in with the delivery.

Dewpoint

Fits great, packs down small and light, has kept me dry so far. I'm 6' and 185 and the XL is perfect for going over inner layers. Pit zips are great. Pretty noisy material but if you need it in the rain you and the animals won't notice.

For what this is, a packable rain jacket it’s awesome! Hunting in bow season you don’t want a heavy hot rain jacket and this jacket is perfect! Was impressed with how well it held up going through brush and blow down as well. Must have for pack in hunts!

It's a great jacket, lightweight and packable. It will be my go-to rain jacket for light to moderate rain days. Size and length are good for my slim body, not too boxy.

Great rain jacket!

In my opinion a rain suit is one of the first and most important pieces a hunter needs. It will keep you safe and dry and can also be used as a wind proof outer layer on those really windy days. I have owned several rain suits and Sitka makes the best!

Dew Point

Bought dew point for waterproof/wind proof top layer. Use it alone or over warmth layers. I’m 5’7” & 168 w/42” chest. Large fit me well with a fleece layer and grindstone vest underneath. Love this rain jacket for heavy outdoor use in Colorado Rockies for flyfidhing, hunting, hiking.

Hunting/campus crossover

This coat has been perfect this fall for my son to walk between classes and to hunt on the weekend. It layers well in his regular size.

I’ve had other Gore Tex

I’ve had other Gore Tex jackets. Specifically the ones we were issued in the Marines. But this is far better. I used this in North Idaho in late October for an elk hunt in the first snow that fell this year. Being from Alabama we don’t get much snow (if any), so I wasn’t sure if my layering would need some adjustment. I mostly wore this with an Ambient Jacket (also highly recommend) and a merino baselayer. I also had a puffy jacket but never really needed it. While glassing I did add the Jetstream jacket if needed with the dew point as a shell. It worked great. I carry this jacket with me everyday. We get some crazy thunderstorms in south Alabama during the summer and it also works great to have as an everyday carry.

Best lightweight rain jacket yet

I’ve been looking for a lightweight, breathable jacket for wearing in warmer months. I’ve tried a few of the major brand jackets and this is by far the best I’ve found. Completely waterproof and i don’t get all clammy when it’s warm or I’m exerting myself. I bought the jacket when it was on sale and it was a great deal.

Compact, lightweight and durable

Bought this as my rainwear to be always with me on my hikes, fishing etc. It is minimalistic, holds heavy rain very well and is windproof. The only thing I'd like to add is breast pocket.

Bought the Dew Point based off other reviews...what a purchase! Jacket is built extremely well, but still packs down and weighs literary nothing. I threw mine on top of my Tool Belt pack, which was also an amazing purchase. Started raining in the middle of the day. Put jacket on and stayed bone dry and warm. I ordered XL as I do for most of my outer jackets through Sitka. Fit perfectly with room for a few base layers under. Now I just need the pants! Oh yeah, also not too noisy. Not that it really matters when its raining.
