Good jacket all around and durable

Great rain jacket

This is exactly what I wanted. Something truly waterproof but isn't heavy weight. Where I live when it rains it usually isn't too cold, so this works perfectly. I bought a size medium, it fits more snugly than other outerwear, which again for me is nice since I typically only wear one layer underneath this jacket. But you could probably fit this over a sweater if you wanted. Great product again.

Great Rain Jacket

After owning other rain gear that never seems to last, I was researching better quality rain jackets, I found this jacket to fit what I was looking for. So far I am very happy with it. The fit seems to be true based on the sizing chart. Only thing I can add would be to possibly consider including a light compact pouch to store and transport. Thank you for producing great quality gear.

Few Point Jacket

I got this together with the Dew Point Pants. The jacket is excellent for nasty weather. It’s breathable yet water tight even for extended periods. Totally recommend both

Conquered the PNW and Kodiak island

Great jacket for rain or snow that never seems to quit. Wore it for 7 days straight and was able to stay dry in some very remote places.

Good so far

It’s been good so far. Sitka seems to run on the small side so size up. Lightweight, a good jacket for light rain for sure. If it’s torrential this isn’t your go to jacket. It’s more of a light rain or is good enough till you find shelter kind of jacket.

Dew Point Jacket Review

This jacket is hands-down the best rain jacket I’ve ever worn. I have this same jacket in Subalpine and have used it in the high country during two days of torrential downpour and I stayed dry. I bought the black to wear around town.

Overpriced rain jacket.

Way overpriced for the quality, and that was on sale. I can’t imagine paying full price for the jacket.

While I would like an extra inch or two at the wasteline, I could lose a few pounds so can’t really complain. Jacket is insanely light.. way lighter than the Marmot rain jacket I have. I’ve used it over a T-shirt in rain and as a hard shell over a puffy. Awesome shell and very happy with it.

Great rain jacket

Water tight and dry, cuts the wind out completely, super lightweight, easy to fold up and tucker in a small outer pocket. Used it in May while fishing steelhead in Alaska.....not one dry day....all my friends were soaked through in their Patagonia and Columbia gear....not me, kept fishing all day. Great outer lightweight rain and wind jacket. Very satisfied

Item runs small but expedient return process

The jacket is lightweight and ideal for travel, as well as in-town wear. It ran a bit tight and Sitka Gear has a painless returns process.

High quality and durable. I'm a laborer in the pnw and this jacket is a godsend. This jacket has not bled through once nor has the dew point pants, I've never had rain gear keep me dry all day until now.

Lightweight and packable. Not a brush busting jacket! Heavy enough duty to withstand normal wear though. Excited to add it to my backpacking kit. Xl is perfect to fit over anything I might have on. 195lbs 6’ tall

Wore it while hiking in

Wore it while hiking in a rainstorm yesterday. It kept me completely dry, while the open vents under the arms helped me stay cool.

Packable and lightweight.

Awesome jacket. This piece is the first thing I throw in my hunting pack to take it the field. The packability makes it so convenient if you get caught in some rain. Highly recommend, and keep up the great work Sitka

Sitka Dew Point Jacket

The Dew Point is a great waterproof shell. It packs down super small to take up very little space in my pack yet is only at your finger tips when you need it. The pockets are in great locations so they do not get in the way of pack straps. Where it is so thin and packable, my only concern is its durability. I have not had any issues but I would not want to catch it on a branch. If you need a daily driver this wouldn’t be it in my opinion but it is a specialized jacket that does its job very well.
