Duck Oven LT Hoodie Reviews

Duck oven LT Large

Super light weight and comfortable. Plan on using it bow hunting for late season and has plenty of mobility. Overall satisfied as usual.

Warm

Very warm and wind blocking.

Excellent quality.

Great for cold conditions. Very pleased with my purchase of this item

Spring snows

Used for spring snows in Missouri. It was perfect. Can layer up or down and work with almost any weather.

Excellent layer for cold weather

The Duck Oven LT Hoodie made cold morning hunts tolerable. This is a critical piece of gear.

Nice hoodie

The hoodie is lightweight, soft, flexible and will be great to use under outer layers. I ordered it because I wanted a tan gradient hoodie but it is not quite the same. The gradient is a quieter material and doesn't need an outer layer since it is more durable, but the gradient is not near as flexible of a material either, so kind of a trade off.

Great light cold gear

It's a great light hoodie for those mildly cold days.

Duck oven hoodie

One of my favorite jackets. Very warm and comfortable. I use it as a mid layer in the very coldest environments that I hunt in.

Jacket is super warm and

Jacket is super warm and quiet. Only downfall in my opinion is the way the hood fits. To right with not enough head room. I by no means have a giant melon

Duck Oven LT

Very nice jacket. Runs small, had to exchange for a bigger size

Duck oven

Runs small and short

A must have for duck hunting

The Duck Oven LT hoodie can function as an outer jacket or a great mid layer with a waterproof outer layer when the weather changes- you can always be prepared

Is the best jacket in the world

Great Product

One of the best item Sitka has!!!!!

Great jacket

Like the hoodie but wish it was as quiet as the duck oven. The duck oven is perfect for whitetail hunting with rifle but the hoodie make a little bit more noise!

Duck oven

Love it

Duck hunted in extreme winds

Duck hunted in extreme winds and low temperatures. This pullover exceeded my expectations. Keep making great clothing. Thanks John

Very nice the hoodie fit

Very nice the hoodie fit Amazing would recommend it to anyone

Let me start off by

Let me start off by saying this is an amazing hoodie. Had they had a tall size available I would’ve given this thing 5 stars. It is deceptively warm given how thin it is. The gortex is truly wind proof and that makes a world of difference on comfort and warmth. I love the pockets, the large kangaroo pouch is very handy. As I said above I gave this 4 stars because of the sizing. The 2xl fit me alright around my gut and in the shoulders, but it was short and the sleeves were also short. I sized up to the 3xl and it fit really well despite being a bit baggy now. The shortness I could live with because I wore this with bibs 90% of the time so it’s understandable on the length. The sleeves being too short about had me not buying it initially. Speaking of sleeves I like the angle cut on the cuffs and they are not super restrictive in the shoulder area. I had pretty well full range of motion the entire time. Which is important for what I bought it for. I bought this along with some of the heavy weight socks, the gradient cold weather bibs and a set of the delta hunting waders. I wore that combo pretty well every day over the winter trapping season while I was checking my traps in and around my ponds. I was frequently in and out of the water and that combo kept me very warm. I could have water turning to ice on the outside of the hoodie from me getting into the water to sort out my beaver traps and I was still warm. Now is it completely waterproof? No, but it doesn’t have to be. That’s what my waders were for. This does a very good job of being water resistant though and having the water bead up on the outside of the hoodie was nice because I would just shake my arms and the vast majority of the water just shake off. This thing is amazing for its size and didn’t hinder my movements at all setting traps or punching holes in ice whenever I needed to. It’s also fairly lightweight so I didn’t feel like I dragging around a bunch of extra weight when walking the trap line. I honestly like this thing enough that I had heavily considered buying this in the solid coyote color and keeping it to wear around town and to work and leaving my Carhartt super dux jacket at home unless it was really cold. If they made it in the tall sizes I might’ve actually done it. All in all though this is amazing for being somewhat active in down even into the teens with the combo I was wearing with it. If I was wearing it in a duck blind not moving around I might need something a little thicker, but for my needs this thing was about perfect.

Not what I expected

Its a good pullover but not warm enough as a stand alone. Please make a Heavy weight sweater that is breathable and windproof that is good to 30 degrees Like a Filson sweater but washable

Wind protection and warmth is unbeatable. Great product

Warmth in Oklahoma

My grandsons early froze this past winter while deer hunting so I gave them these hoodies and they were revived

Got this right at the

Got this right at the end of season. Just right for late Alabama winter

Excellent

the hoodie is excellent for when you don't really need the jacket but need something for the wind. there is no stretch in the arms so I had to get a larger size.

A great pick up for

A great pick up for mid season as a single layer or additional layer in late season. Waterfowl hunt all over Texas and during late season with the big cold front in the last weekend of season the duck oven LT was perfect with a core and aerolite vest under. It’s same material as the duck oven but just a bit less bulkier from a little less insulation but still the warmest jacket you’ll have in your gear rotation. Highly recommend for someone who hunts in the mid-late season when temps drop to the 20s and 30s.

Great hoodie, durable, quick to put on, warm

Sitka hit a home run with this one – – – very easy to deploy and take off in the field, tough material, very warm with a hood that finally fits well and it does not get in the way of the hunt. Good job…

Overall it's good but runs

Overall it's good but runs a little small.

Duck Oven LT

The Duck Oven was already one of my favorite pieces of Sitka gear then they went and made it a hoodie. The best piece of Sitka Gear for mid to late season. Sitka we on the East Coast need it in the Cover Pattern

Great hoodie - not like duck oven jacket

Light hoodie with a lot of warmth, but (thankfully) not as warm as the duck oven jacket. Will buy another

Review

High quality product and can be used for what it is intend to be used for

Surprisingly Great

Didn’t know if it was gonna be warm enough but it’s now my go to hoodie. Less stiff and a little lighter than the Dakota with Dakota like performance in my opinion. Size XL

Great pull over!

This is a great hoodie. I am a women size large and I got a mens medium and it fits great! This jacket has an adjustable cinch cord around waste to adjust to your liking! Love this camo print also!

No Joke

This is literally the best piece of waterfowl clothing I own. Soft Sherpa, through pocket, large hood, and it performs great in the elements by keeping you dry and breaking the wind. Worth its' price 10x over. I sized up to XL to accommodate layers and to allow me the freedom to shoulder my gun without restraint.
