I’ve also been running the Sitka Equinox Hoodie and gloves alongside the Guard LT Pants, and they’ve been just as impressive. The biggest standout again—bug protection. No mosquitoes, no ticks, no biting flies getting through. That alone makes a huge difference when you’re hunting in warmer conditions, whether that was down in Florida or back here in Ohio. Both the hoodie and gloves are lightweight and breathable, so you’re not overheating, even when temps start climbing. The equinox guard hoodie is super comfortable and the perfect amount of warm for those cold spring turkey hunts. The sleeves at the wrist are a hair tight, but I stretched them out so they fit perfect now.

La Pampa, Argentina Red Stag & Black Buck Hunt

I usually use this for turkey hunting in Indiana. I wore two different EGHs in Argentina on a stag and black buck hunt. It was unusually hot--90+ degrees every day of the hunt in March/April 2026. The hoodie was light and worked great for the hours of hiking and stalking. It also helped with the myriad of bugs that tried to come after me. Highly recommend for the grueling hot weather we encountered.
