Fits true to size and great bug guard on the ankle.

Not what I expected

No zip pockets. Or zip ventilations runs hot even for light. Should of had ventilation on side for long walks

Guard LT Pant Best For Hot Weather Insect Preotection

I love these pants for hot weather hunts and scouting work to get things done with great bug protection.

These are men’s pants and I’m not quite built like a man but it was the only way to buy these insect deterring pants. They need a larger thigh and behind for this hunting woman. I love the tuck in your boot sleeve and pull your sock over protection idea. I’m complementing the pants by doing the simple spraying of my vehicle carpets, seat covers etc for anything that gets by these pants. I have coupled it with the Sitka guard hoody ( which I love. Just asking…. Sitka women love the outdoors too, Please include us in your designs!

Great early season pants

Fantastic pants working on food plots, turkey hunting or just everyday in the woods.

Great product

Not often you make it through turkey season / early Spring without picking up a tick. The insect shield functionality in my experience, worked exactly as intended!

Nice and breathable

Breathable, and did great with bugs in Alaska. Comfortable with the 5 mile hike we did. Like the adjustable button on the pant. I do miss a single zipper pocket that’s why not 5 stars, love my zipper pocket.

Too loud for bowhunting

Nice and light but way too loud for bowhunting. The original version of the guard pants is significantly quieter.

Way too loud for bowhunting. Had to return. The 1. 0 model is way better and much more quiet. Will try to find those somewhere instead

I wore this suit on

I wore this suit on a Canada fishing trip . The area I went was infested with mosquitoes. The suit protected me and worked as it states it would against insects. I would d3finitely recommend this suit. It is great. Thank you.

Does what it says, no bugs, no ticks, light and breathable but also durable.

Runs small

I wish these pants had more pockets, and side vents runs small, pockets are small.

Guard lite

Fit is true to size, I've only owned them a week so I am interested how they hold up. Only things I don't care for are there is only one back pocket and the gaiter is looser than I expected it to be.

Peace of mind - light weight and comfortable

I picked up a pair of these for a recent work trip to an area with lots of ticks. They look nice enough to wear in a professional setting but provide the peace of mind to reduce the threat of tick-born illnesses. I doused mine with permethrin and breathed easy.

Guard LT Pant

First impression after trying on, this meets the same quality that I have come to expect from my SITKA gear. They run a little tighter than my other pairs of hunting pants. I would have probably ordered a size bigger. Not a huge issue, just makes loading the pockets harder.

They are a bit snug, very thin, super comfortable, most importantly kept the ticks off. I’m 5’6, 190lbs, 32” inseem. I got the 36 regular.

Not as good

I have a pair of the original ones. Those are great. The fabric and fit is quite different. They’re much hotter and less flexible. Quality feels much lesser. Pockets are different too and less functional. I would not buy again.

Great light weight bug proof pants!

Very lightweight, comfortable stretchy bugproof pants. Extremely tight knit, but yet still breathable. I love mine!

Very pleased

I just returned from a campout where everyone seemed to get ticks but me. I used a little bit of DEET on my shoes but I otherwise relied on these pants plus socks from InsectShield. My only, tiny complaint is that they don't have a left rear pocket. Outdoor wear needs as many pockets as possible.

Great pant

These pants actually fit like normal pants, legs are not super baggy. The material is thin and breathable. I bought the other gaurd pants prior but they were baggy and thicker which for an insect material we will be wearing them in hot weather. These are the better of the 2 for comfort

Nice, but. . .

Pants are ok thin and light that's the good part. But I may send them back due to the fit. Around the waist is good but if you have larger quads they become form fitting and turn into skinny jeans.
