This is a great hoodie, versatile, and very warm

It says heavyweight and it is, but it feels lightweight, keeps you dry, and warm. I normally wear several layers but now it's just this hoodie and a tshirt. This is my new favorite gear, I will only purchase Stika from now on. Very good product and delivery was fast

I have a few of these hoodies, they are perfect for early season. As a base layer you cannot ask for more out of a shirt. its heavy enough to keep you warm but breaths well so you are not over heating or sweating on your walks in. I also use them for just daily wear. I do wish they came in a none hood option as well.

I was unsure of buying this hoody at first only cause I have the fanatic which has been a great piece to my gear. My father and brother live in Montana and both bought this, already having the fanatic. My dad called me saying I needed to buy this. 1 week later I received this hoody and couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Great product as always! Merry Christmas!

New to Sitka Gear

This is the first year I’ve purchased Sitka Gear and always thought I don’t need it I can get the same stuff cheaper. After hunting in Sitka Gear for a season I wish I had started with it. Now I have a bunch of other gear I don’t need and likely will no longer use. I should have just started with the good stuff before wasting my money. Learn from my mistake. As far as this product it’s a great everyday wear along with a great walkin layer on those cold mornings.

Heavyweight hoodie

I love this piece. I can wear this as a stand alone piece on my walk to the stand no matter how cold and never get sweated up but never get cold as well. I sold my first lite furnace to get this set and I can’t be happier. I’m way warmer and I don’t sweat.

Use it everywhere!

Great, versatile layer that I've been using all year in the mountains, deer stand, and pheasant walks. Kept out light wind and rain when used as an outer layer and insulated well as a midlayer.

Hoody

This is one of my favorite Sitka items. The hood keeps me very warm. I use this as my base layer with heavyweight bottoms, the wear 90% jacket and pants, then insulate with a Kelvin Down Hoody Jacket. Keeps me warm down to 10-20 degrees in Colorado.

Absolutely awesome price of clothing. I wore this and an equinox gaurd hoodie in Colorado this year in 17 degree weather. Did a lot of hiking and glassing and never got cold

Great Sweatshirt!

I bought this to use in Minnesota for deer hunting. My layering included a heavyweight base layer, then this heavyweight hoodie, then a wool quarter zip, then the Incinerator jacket. I was a able to sit for 8 hours in upper teens to lower twenties temp, 10+mph winds all day no problem. Love Sitka gear.

Great quality, weird fit.

As expected, the material and construction quality of this piece is top notch. Warm, stretchy, dries fast, everything about the core hoody is designed really well. I find difficulty in nailing down Sitka's sizing...sometimes I wear a large, sometimes a medium. Ordered a few of these hoodys in medium and they run tight on me, and long in the torso. Not ideal but still functional.

Heavyweight Hoody

I love this hoody! It’s perfect for early elk seasons or just a layering under a Kelvin light hoody, when the first frost hits. It dries quickly when you sweat. I will say that after time, the material starts to fray, but still a great piece to have.

Can’t go wrong!

I own several heavyweight hoodies. I utilize them on all my hunts from fall to spring. This garment breathes well and is extremely versatile depending on what base layer you choose to wear underneath.

My go to Hoody

This Hoody I use for cold weather hunting, If I am doing a hard hike I just hike in this hoody and a layer when I get to where I am going to hunt or glass. I also use this as daily wear in the winter when its cold outside.

Very comfortable hoody. I have purchased in 4 different colors. I’m 5’11” 200 lbs. XL fits perfect on top, tad bit long. Product does not pull like other cheaper fleece tops I own. Keep on pumping out more colors.

As always Sitka gear is outstanding. High quality materials perfectly built for my passion for the outdoors. Love it! A note on size: I purchased mine as an outer layer with two shirts beneath. I’m normally a medium which runs true to size.

Pretty good

Great mid layer, well constructed, didn’t retain moisture & must’ve done a good job keeping my stink down. Wore it for 4 days out of a 9 day hunt this elk season. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is that it began piling, which is inevitable, but thought it would take longer than my first hunt with it. I would purchase another, I’ve got confidence in its performance as advertised.
