The pants are awesome other then the size options.

Great upgrade to Apex

Pants look really good. Very similar to the apex which have been my favorites for the last couple years. HUGE upgrade having the hip vent which was about my only complaint about the old Apex. They’re brand new so I haven’t had a chance to hunt in them but the fit is great and I’m sure will be as awesome as my apex were for years:) also knee pads are less bulky than the apex which is a significant improvement. I’m 6’ 180# and wear a size 32 regularly. The 32 regulars fit perfectly and could probably even wear a thin base layer if required.

Great pants besides leg vents

Great pants. Seem durable and they are extremely comfortable. Only flaw I see is the vents on the back of the pants don’t have any type of liner when you open them so your undergarments are purely exposed on your rear.

Great pants

I bought these for a light weight hiking pant and also for Pennsylvania bear drives. The unforgiving rocks and mountain laurel have left my shins and knees battered and bruised so I wanted something with a knee pad in them. They are a comfortable pair of pants and the hip zips are a game changer! I won't hesitate to wear these all season long.

Best hunting pants I’ve owned

These pants are great I love the durability and breathability they have. With a light base layer they are plenty warm as well

Poor stitching

Not a huge fan of the quality of these pants I purchased a pair and out of the bag they had incomplete stitching I had expected better quality over the mountain pant due to the price being substantially more

Excellent Pants

I am a huge Sitka fan - I would recommend anything that they make, and I own almost everything that they make. Love it all!

Tough Merino. Good Pants.

Pants are great. The material is tougher than I thought, but haven’t worn on a rough outing yet to truly test them. Knee pads are small enough to not bother you while walking, but big enough to work great when shooting archery from a kneeling position. Fit could be a tad better. The 32R length is tad bit long for me but not an issue when wearing boots. I’m normally a 32 waist, 30 length for reference.

Nice pant for mountain hunting. The knee pads and vent zips along with merino make it a very comfortable combo.

Great first impression!

I am wearing my new Intercept pants on an exotic hunt in Texas. They are performing well. The temperatures have ranged from the high 40's to the low 80's. I've been comfortable through that whole range. They are whisper quiet, which is my favorite feature. My only wish is that the inseam were 1 inch longer so they don't pull up over my quarter-top boots when I sit. I am 6'2" and ordered a 36T. If I were any taller the pants would be too short.

Excellent pant.

I was amazed at how much heat was dumped when I unzipped the back thigh zippers. My favorite pant of them all.

Must Have in the line!

If you dont have these pants, you need them. great for any condition, vents can be opened to cool. and can also be easily layered for when the temps drop. My go to pant for back country hunting!

Awesome pant, would get 5 stars but I'm not a fan of how the material feels against my skin on the inside. Extremely functional pant. Easily 4 season if you put a base layer underneath. Great archery pant by itself.

FANTASTIC

Solid pants

Comfortable, fit well, and merino liner provides a bit of warmth when needed, while side zippers allow you to easily dump excess heat.

They are great pants, period. Huge fan of how they are somewhat fitted but not too fitted, the side vents are legit and the durability is awesome. Only thing is I wish Sitka made a short version for all their pants for us shorter folks!

These pants are amazing. Light, breathable and very quiet.

Love these pants for comfort

Love these pants for comfort and daily use. Wish there was mesh in the size vip vents, the allow breathe ability and privacy. They open right to the ass and don’t go down far enough the be used to shed layers. The knee pad pouches on the inside are open from the top so when pulling up the pants, I’ve snagged the opening with my foot a couple times and heard stitching rip. Wish they were open on the bottom or had a flap that would more or less seal the top opening to prevent this.

Super comfortable

These pants fit great and are nearly silent even in quiet environments. Looking forward to running them for archery elk season this year.

Intercept Pant

Love these pants! I’d wear them everyday if I could. I’ve had the Timberline pant for several years and wanted to try these as they had the side vent zippers. The new knee pad material and how you can remove them are great! Being able to remove the pads from the side zips without having to turn the pants inside out is great. They don’t have back pockets, but that doesn’t bother me at all cause I’ve never been one to store wallets or other items in them. More form fitting then the timberline which I like; less baggy material at the bottom to get hung up on trees and brush. I wore these in a late November hunt with thermals underneath and they kept me warmer than expected.

Great early season pant with zippered thigh vents to quickly remove heat and keep you in the hunt longer. Extremely comfortable material that provides stretch for movement while maintaining durability. 10/10 recommend!

Durable Wool

Certainly the most durable wool pant I've worn from numerous brands. Love this for whitetail hunting where I have to crawl through brush and be quiet while stalking. Well done from Sitka. 4/5 just for the sizing; I typically need a little longer inseam in a pant.

Perfect pairing with the hoody for mid to late whitetail hunting in the SE USA. Love the extra protection and rugged enough for laundering and near every day use.

I had the apex setup, loved it. Upgraded to intercept, little better material, different colors, minor feature tweaks which are great. Zipper vents make it extremely versatile.

Best early season pants

I wore these for archery and 1st rifle this year and could NOT be happier with them. Warm, but not hot. Thigh vents are a great addition. Pockets are the same as other comparable Sitka pants. But what I really like about them is the FIT. Athletic, but not too tight or too loose. Love the new knee pads. Tapered around the ankle so that dirt and scree aren’t accumulating in your socks/boots. 6/5 stars.

Pants held up great

I wore them every day for 3 weeks straight in Arizona in the thickest stuff imaginable. They held up great and didn’t smell one bit after 21 days of abuse.

Not only works great for crawling and stalking but also for hunting from a saddle. The knee pads are sturdy but not bulky and the outer material is tough.

Intercept Proves Flawless

Used these on an Idaho backcountry archery elk hunt in dead forest for 5 days. Pockets were great for the items I carried, weight was perfect for early season hunting, strong construction held up to the downed trees and protruding broken branches and wood, plus the knee pads were a huge bonus when needing to get low and crawl. Highly recommend.

Great early to mid season pant

Finally a Sitka pant with hip vents! I loved the Apex pant and these are basically the Apex with hip vents. The vents are really big allowing a ton of ventilation. I have a love hate relationship with the hip vents since they don’t have a mesh lining inside the zipper. If you have them open while walking through a lot of vegetation or tall grass you will have stuff fall inside your pant leg. If they had mesh liners they wouldn’t vent as good and wouldn’t open as far so I just close them when I walk through fields and dense brush. Face fabric is silent, knee pads are great, and the zipper on the hip vents are tiny but really smooth. I only need one hand to zip or unzip them making them really easy to adjust on the go. Fit is trim but not tight.

I ordered this to try with my saddle hunting because of the integrated knee pads and they work perfectly not to much to be in the way just wearing them or normal use and not to little to keep knees comfortable against tree they are just right
