Great piece

love my Jetstreams soft-shell so much I have 3 different ones, a solid for fishing and around the yard, and 2 camo's to suit my hunting. yes they are fitted in sizing, but Windproof and quiet, pit-zips for big hikes.

Great jacket!

The more you use it the more you like it! I have it in blue for everyday use AND elevated ii for hunting. Pairs great with the Traverse jacket for additional insulation. Love it!

Bought for south Easter white tail

I wear this with either a merino under layer or ambient jacket under. There’s some bulk with the ambient but with temperature swings in our winter from 30- mid 50s or even creeping into 60s, it’s worth it. If I know I won’t shed layers I’ll just wear the merino under layers.

Best hunting jacket I own.

This jacket is extremely versatile. I wore it this year in many different conditions s and it performed flawlessly by itself on warmer days and as the shell of a layering system in the coldest days.

I wish it had adjustable

I wish it had adjustable cuffs at the wrist. Other than that it’s my favorite coat!

Very versatile piece. Never thought armpit zippers would help but they dump heat when you need it. Early turkey season best jacket you could have!

Jetstream Jacket

Great jacket. Very warm when the wind is the main issue. I am 6'1 210 pounds and ordered the XLT. I found this to be a good fit for extra coverage - but I think the XL would have provided a more traditional fit - and I will probably go with that for my next purchase. I am very happy with it. The outside shell seems very tough.

I bought this jacket for deer hunting in south Texas and it works perfect. I own the boreal and thunderhead as well and I am very satisfied.

Have warn the jacket for about a month straight. Absolutely love it. From 8-45 degrees with snow and rain I have zero complaints. I’m a forestry technician, so lots of walking through brush at times. No rips or tears. Very wind proof. I ordered a 3xl to get the right arm length and so I could layer underneath.

I'd definitely buy again

Great pc . Really like how it blocks the wind. I hunt in Midwest and the wind can end a good hunt. With the Jetstream jacket you can sit in comfort and stay warm with the wind not cutting you.

Worth every penny

It absolutely blocks the wind. I dont leave home with out it. Its not really a warm jacket by itself. You have layer underneath it. This and a gradient jacket does the trick!

Like all my other Sitka

Like all my other Sitka hunting cloths, it performed perfectly. I was hunting in Arizonas Sonora region. An area that everything either bites, stings or sticks you, and my Sitka gear held up very well. Not surprised!

Great quality jacket, not built for primates

I've been saving up for Sitka gear for a while. Finally ordered it. Given my stature, I have to order 3X in order to accomodate the length of my arms, though it almost always runs large around my gut. This jacket fits well around my torso at 3X, but it's a little bit short on the arms. I'll just deal with it, as it's the best hunting gear I own, but would've been pleased to see sizes better for taller individuals.

This jacket is everything that they say it is. It's low profile and light weight but still keeps you warm and most of it is wind proof. This would be one of the first jackets I would purchase for my system.

Keep layering in mind when you buy these. If you are on the line go up a size. I have two of the jetstream jackets. I love them. They break the wind great and they are perfect with the ambient jacket under it. They are NOT water proof. In a light misting rain you will be ok. It drys out quick when it gets damp.

Number three

First bought myself one and once I showed my son he had to have one so I bought one for him and my grandson for Christmas. We all love not only our Jacket but all our SITKA gear.

Comfortable!

It was comfortable and worked well to block wind. But it was a little noisy when I moved. The XXL was also a little shorter on me so I exchanged it for the Stratus which they had in 2XT. Plus the material is less noisy.

Jacket is light weight but

Jacket is light weight but warm as can be. Worn on a 15° morning pheasant hunting and was very comfortable. The mechanical venting came in handy after a few passes in the fields. Doesn't make any kind of noise while walking to to the moisture well as the day warmed up. Zippers and overall construction is A+++

Super thin, basically a wind breaker

I really like the jacket in early season and it doesn’t get cold here in north Alabama. The jacket is super thin, I’m sure it’d be great with another jacket under it for some warmth but this is pretty much a wind breaker. I wear it with the midweight zip tee under it and up until under 40 degrees it’s perfect. In my opinion there’s better options from Sitka for the same price. I’m sure if I could layer right this would be perfect though.

This is the third one I have purchased in different patterns. Great fit and comfortable. With the right layers it can be worn down to the low 30's

Jetstream is Bada**

Jacket fits perfectly. I’m 6’1” 185 and the XL is the perfect size. It give just enough room to run with the ambient in Lg of need be! Would highly recommend. It also stands up to light rain very well. 100% satisfied

This jacket is very very good as an outer layer. I wore this jacket and it kept me out the wind very well, kept my body heat inside all my layers. Worth the investment.

Great Buy.

Sitka nailed it again. I was worried this jacket would not be warm due to how light and thin it is but was pleasantly surprised with how warm it is. Paired with a vest thing thing will have you sweating!

First Sitka gear I have purchased and I'm very impressed. As others have said, the jacket is warm and very wind proof! I have worn it as a layer and it fits well and keeps me warm. Will definitely be buying more Sitka gear!

Excellent fit and finish

Great lighter-weight jacket to fit over under layers and hoodies. Love the protection it gives when the wind starts to ramp up.

Excited and warm husband

Fits great - we did size up one for comfortable fit with a hoodie under it. Went for a walk with rain drizzle and you could see the water beading off.

Too Thin and Too Short

No way this jacket will keep you warm without three layers. Thickness of a wind breaker. My Traverse Hoody would be warmer than this jacket. Also, too short in waist and to snug in arms and shoulders. Sent it back.

Jacket works well while layering on cold days (The few we get here in Louisiana lol). Super comfortable and well made. Get what you pay for.
