Great jacket. Hubby really likes it for the coldest and windiest days of our Minnesota winters, yet it is not heavy and bulky. Would definitely buy again. He wears mediums in shirts but bought a large to accommodate sweatshirts.

This jacket is so much warmer than you would think just by looking at it. The fit is great, typical high quality item from Sitka. Windstopper is a game changer in any layer of your system.

Is it a $300 jacket?

Is it a $300 jacket? Not sure. I would say it’s definitely worth $150 or less when you grab it on sale. Very pleased with mine.

Excellent Jacket

Caught a sale and ordered it not knowing what to expect. I’ve been working in the Midwest and this was perfect to travel with and excellent to pit on over the merino 330 1/4 zip. For my height I would love to see a tall option but the size L works just fine. I highly recommend.

I bought 2

Bought this as a “just in case” shell for windy hunts… and it immediately took over as my go-to winter jacket. Keeps you warm without feeling like you’re lugging around a sleeping bag. Not bulky, but somehow warmer than it has any right to be. The wind stopper is legit. Colorado tried its worst and this thing didn’t flinch. It got so good my wife started stealing it… like fully zipping herself and our 10-month-old inside on walks. So yeah, had to buy a second one. Now it’s my default for everything from hunts to dog walks to “quick” trips outside that aren’t quick. RIP to my arcteryx jackets, Sitka is taking over.

I live in east Kansas and this jacket is great! Keeps me warm when its 10 degree and is even great at 30! I'm a mix between large and medium. The medium fits great in the chest and stomach but a little tight in the shoulders.

Super warm in a light weight jacket. Excellent job stopping the wind and lined pockets are a game changer. Like most puffer type jackets, great for every day wear but not a super durable work jacket.

Great jacket for the three days I had it.

Bought one for my son’s birthday he loves it. Son in law asked where it came from as he liked it to felt bad so I gave him mine. Tried to grab a replacement but XL were sold out.

Great Quality Coat

This is a great casual wear coat that's flexible and easy to move in. The cherry wood color is a nice break from the typical gray, black, brown we often get.

Pretty Good

Really nice and warm jacket. The water and wind resistance is great. Only downside side is during the wash the insulation works its way out of the seams.

Incredible everyday jacket

Super warm, lightweight jacket. 5’10” 175lbs and a Large fits comfy with or without a sweatshirt. Wind stopper technology is a game changer for me. I wear this as an everyday jacket. Love it!

Real Deal

This jacket is the real deal. Super light but warm adapts unbelievably well to temperature change. Should of bought it sooner

Almost Perfect

It is windproof and warm enough for daily wear through the winter in the frozen tundra. I wish that it was offered in a size Large Tall (LT). I got the XL to ensure arm length but it comes with extra everywhere and fits more loosely than I would prefer.

Love this jacket. Would never wear it hunting but wear it all the time to go out to dinner and stuff. Windproof, warm, and looks good 👍. Pockets are lined with heavy fleece which is very nice. Stitching on the inside is lined with camo which is unnecessary but a thoughtful touch.

Cold Weather Jacket

Solid jacket for cold and wind, completely eliminates any windchill. The drawback is there are constantly little puffs of insulation coming out along the seams. This doesn’t stop no matter how many times I hit it with a lint roller.

Nice Jacket

This is a very nice, packable jacket. Windblock is great, and the 2X will fit over anything else you have on. Runs true to size. An XL would have fit fine, but I wanted a windproof jacket as a final layer to fit over all the other layers. This is just the ticket.

We loved this jacket so much, we bought it twice — once in black, once in green. My boyfriend has been wearing the SITKA Ridgeline jacket(s) nonstop, and honestly, I can see why. The windproofing alone is worth every penny. It cuts through the elements without feeling stiff or bulky — just clean, functional protection that works for everyday wear, not just the outdoors. It keeps you warm enough without overheating, which is that perfect balance that's so hard to find in a jacket. What really seals it is the fit.
