Hunting boots

They are extremely comfortable. I would like to see an adjustable calf strap to help keep debris out.

Incredible boots!

Lightweight, fully waterproof, and surprisingly warm thanks to PrimaLoft insulation. The Vibram sole grips everything, and they’re way more comfortable than bulky rubber boots. Perfect for active hunts in wet or cold conditions. Highly recommended!

Comfortable/light weight/obviously water proof

I’ve only had my boots about 3-4 months but I did wear them during our states spring gobbler season. The boots are extremely light weight and very comfortable. No problems walking in these up and down the hills that I hunt all day. They are just a bit too warm for this time of the year. Can’t wait to wear them during our archery season this fall.

Good boots, but needs a gusset for the very wide upper calf area!

These boots are comfortable they wear almost like a regular hunting boots and are obviously quite waterproof. Your feet sweat a little bit less in them, especially if it’s dry outside. The main problem is the very wide upper that flops around, slapping your calves as you walk and makes a lot of noise. If you have huge calves, that probably won’t be a problem, but for most a gusset of some sort to cinch the top would have solved the issue and make them more comfortable. One way to mitigate this I found is to roll up your pants legs and use them to fill the space between your calves and the boot, or attach a small washcloth to the pull strap and stuff it between the upper and your calf, but that is obviously cumbersome.

Best rubber boot on the market

I have used several kinds of rubber boots, I bought these for a trip to manitoba, and they kept my feet warm, dry, and are crazy light weight. They allow your feet to breathe but also keep them dry. My only complaint, is the shin portion seems a little bulky compared to others.

One of the smartest gear investments I’ve made

These might be one of the smartest hunting gear investments I’ve made. Worn through damp grass, muddy creek beds, and both cool and warm temps—they delivered comfort like I was wearing house shoes. Easy on/off, lightweight, and totally waterproof. I went up half a size and the fit was perfect. Yes, they’re pricey—but absolutely worth it. Buy once, cry once—these boots won’t let you down.

My old boots wore out and needed a new pair. Have been using Sitka Gear for a long time. Their products have been great. Glad they decided to make boots. Most of the other brands don’t last long and wear out quickly

Got the boots and bigger, taller and thicker than expected. Was panicked at first because my foot wouldn’t go in! After putting on a thin pair of socks no issues. Did some long hikes 15-20miles, crazy comfortable. Materials seem very durable. Much too warm for spring sheds and turkey but can’t wait for fall!

Not a good fit but light

Need a half size. 9 was so tight on the front I needed help getting it off. Went with a 10. Good fit on the front but the rest was sloppy and to much play. Would be good with 2 pair of socks and little walking but definitely not good for Blackhills hiking terrain. Feet were sweaty but no water got inside my boot. Very light compared to rubber boots. Think I'm going to try other more hiking style for my run n gun kind of hunting. Management even stated 3 other people returned due to fit.

Bought these last year and the front where your ankle bends cracked and pealing not worth the money if I have to replace every year

I bought a size up. Just in case the fit was tight. It’s a good thing I did. The fit is perfect. I can’t tell you about the performance of the boot. For $400 I’m only going to wear these boots while I’m deer hunting.

Best calf boots I’ve ever worn

Honestly, there’s a reason why they’re pricey. But they’re totally worth it. So comfortable I can even hunt the back country in them in place of hiking boots!!

Happy with the purchase

I bought these for my husband for hunting and canoe camping. The boots work well for both activities. The added height of the boot and the light weight make these so much better than the “typical” boots he had been using for years.

These boots look huge when

These boots look huge when you receive them, like astronauts' would wear. Once they are on, they are great! Great grip in the water on slippery rocks or on steep hillsides moving through brush. They are waterproof all the way up to the top, but one's feet don't sweat. Great for cold weather, looking forward to a warm weather version.

Great boot

These boots fit me very well with a thick pair of socks and are very comfy even after a 3 mile hike. Super lite for that style of boot and the best part is that my feet stayed dry even after the hike. Keep in mind these boots are high in length and will touch your upper leg while sitting witch took some getting use to. Great job sitka

New GTX boots 🥾

Worn on short hikes: so far, so good 😊! Seems a little snug around the ankle and lower shin area. I’ll know more after wearing them hiking and hunting all day. They are difficult to get on and off with two pairs of socks 🧦. Once on, two pairs of socks seem to fit fine… I wear a men’s size 7 and weigh 165 at 5’5”.

Quality but…

Purchased these ended up sending them back they’re way to bulky for a pull on style boot. I’d love to see them make a 8inch hiking style boot with the boa system and I would most definitely purchase them.

Absolutely awesome

I wore these boots on a day where the temperature fluctuated 40 degree from the start of the day until I left the woods. In my old rubber boots I would have been wringing out wet socks but not in these gems.

Light weight boots

Used in 12” of snow and feet weren’t cold, they do not roll down like other brands. Can’t wait to see how they do in warmer weather
