Good pants, one big flaw

These are pretty good fishing pants. I mostly do flats fishing, so that’s when I have worn them. Good for fall-spring. Probably a little thick and heavy for warmer months. Just wore them 4 days in Everglades at high of 80 and was ok. Big flaw is No Rear Pocket! I don’t think I have a single pair of pants without at least one back pocket. I don’t love having keys, wallet, phone in front thigh pocket walking from truck to boat at the ramp. It’s just not natural and feels weird. The pliers pocket is actually pretty decent and fits Hatch and Van Staals well enough. Nice enough for plane/travel/casual dinner after fishing.

Excited to use it.

A week away from going on Spring snow goose hunt. Very pleased with he quality and functionality of the core hoodie. Layering will be perfect for unknown weather conditions.

Not up to Sitka standard

Disappointed with the light weight material. Very cheap and won’t last long. Liked the color and emblem on the shirt.

Preparing for a Canada Spring goose hunt, the vest will be perfect for layering for unknown weather conditions. Very pleased with the fit and functionality of this item.

Velcro will rip your clothes' sleeves to shreds

On each side of the hip belt is a heavy velcro setup (presumably for attaching accessories). This velcro will pull fibers from almost anything you are wearing as your arms brush against it while hiking. I am going to cut all this off the pack before I trash anymore clothes.

Great technically… durable as Kleenex

This jacket is meant to be worn under other layers. But even if that’s the purpose just know the face fabric is about as durable as a Kleenex. This will pill if a rough surface even glances in the direction of the jacket. If you were to be around a blue collar person and heaven forbid you are one simply rubbing this with calloused hand would cause this to nearly fall apart. I actually love this jacket for warmth and it is quite versatile but there is something I loathe about high end gear that has to be absolutely babied or replaced after even the lightest of uses if put to the test. Gear has this sliding scale that begin at dirt cheap and also incredibly fragile, then moves to good durability and solid price (ie justified), then it hits the Sitka/Arc’teryx level where you get this high end gear with almost obscene prices however the sliding scale of price and durability instead goes at Mach 1 in opposite directions. This has to be absolutely babied to keep in good condition and could never be worn as a stand alone item. This is use after about 1. 5yrs but zero hard uses and honestly was primarily used as a jacket in winter while commuting. Not sure how this can claim the face fabric adds durability because it just ain’t. If I were them I wouldn’t even mention durability in the description

Sadly one of my worst Sitka items. Shirts are incredibly thin and threads are piling after less than 5 wears to the office. Disappointing.

Lightest Waterproof boot I've ever owned

Lightweight, form fitting, breathable and waterproof. Perfect boots for the stand or on foot. They breath but still keep me warm on those late season sits. The one time I went too deep and flooded one boot, it was almost completely dry by the time I wrapped up my hike. Worth the investment.

Quieter than the DEW POINT, 100% Waterproof

Great Jacket for rainy day turkey hunting or a early season sit in the whitetail woods. I bought mine in Cover 2 as a Spring/Early Fall system, coat and pants. Quiet enough to pull the bow back with no "crunchy" sounds. Ultra lightweight, and breathable for climbing into the stand or a muggy rainy morning calling in turkeys. 10/10 would recommend.

Good Base Layer

This base layer is good for what it’s designed for. It does snag very easily. It’s a very high price to pay for a garment that is so fragile it will literally snag on a peeled, boiled egg! As for providing the function of a base layer it does perform well. The weave being a knit makes it very prone and susceptible to snagging.

Toes in the water!

I'm usually not a fan of flip flops, more of a slides guy, but these sandals are incredibly comfortable! I can spend all day on the boat in them.

Great shirt! Love the material. It's breathable, yet doesn't show through. I'm between a size M and L and orderd both. M is tight around the pits, and L is slightly oversized. If you're between sizes, size up!

The material is great, zip pockets are nice, and overall fit is good. These shorts are a tad tight around the thighs for me, but they are squat proof.

Terrible sweatshirt

I wear large in everything and this large was huge. The hood was gigantic and annoying. If you put it up it flops over and covers your whole head. If laid down it’s like a giant towel neck roll around your neck. I returned it immediately. Nothing quality about this sweatshirt

Nice vest.

Vest is light, soft and quiet. You can feel warmth when trying it on. I’m 5’11 210 and XL fit snug especially at arm holes. Could fit a heavy base layer under it. If you want multiple layers under neath definitely size up.

I really like this jacket

I really like this jacket but will be returning it because the collar only has down fill at one end. The other end/half of the collar has no down at all. Very disappointing because I got a screaming deal on the price.

Small and light weight for when you don't want the bulk of a vest, but also small enough to fit underneath the vest.

Need more colorways.

The knee pads fit exactly where my knee hits and the pant still fits comfortable if I take the knee pads out.

Perfection

This is the perfect waterfowl jacket. Even in sub 0 weather I still find myself sweating sometimes. I’ve never been cold in this jacket. Honestly think it’s a must for anyone who hunts in cold weather.

Fit well and are comfortable. Bought two pairs one a size up to wear the merino gloves inside. My boys love theres as well. Everyone can handle temps different but I would say they are good to 40ish degrees by their self .

I have switched most of my base layers to merino wool. From light weight to heavy weight, nothing beats this material.

Top Notch Tee

Love these tees. Great material, super soft, great fit. Try one and you will not regret it. Sizing is spot on and they don't shrink in the wash.

You will spend a lot

You will spend a lot for these boots but they are worth every penny! Your feet won’t get wet and won’t get cold. I use them for upland bird hunting to ice fishing and never had an issue. Comfortable to hike in too.

Solid hoodie

I used this for a week+ long hunt in Kansas chasing whitetails in December. The days I was scouting in 22 degree weather, this kept me warm. Nothing keeps me warm while sitting especially in the Kansas wind. I ordered a size larger to fit over multiple layers for all days sits in 20 degree weather. This hoodie was a solid purchase, I'm happy with it.

Good purchase

Functions as it should. I like the magnetic latch in the front of the vest. The large pockets are great. As others have mentioned the material is loud in cold temperatures. This vest was used for late season whitetail firearm. I ordered a size larger to easily throw over my gear when bundled up and am happy with my choice.

Jetstream WS glove review

Like most Sitka gear, these gloves are excellent quality. The fabric is comfortable and the fit is great. They are not waterproof (so don’t expect to pick up decoys with these) but the windstopper technology of the Jetstream keeps your hands dry and warm even in fairly wet and windy conditions. The fabric is thick enough for that barrier against the elements and durability but thin enough for good dexterity. They are well suited to driving the boat or walking the dogs. I really like that I can stuff them in even a small pocket. The only “cons” for me are (1) they are not made in the USA, (2) I’m terrible about losing one so if there was a way to attach them together (while not on your hands) that would be a great feature
