Runs a bit larger than

Runs a bit larger than oversized, this works very well for keeping dry. The hood runs very large. Shooting my bow in the rain the hood gets in your line of sight and the string will hit the jacket sleeve. If the size could be adjusted this would be perfect. I have yet to test with a rifle.

Purpose Built

The jacket and pant are lightweight, rugged, and minimalist. They’ve kept me dry in downpours and vent pretty well. Have stood up to rock and brush so far.

Have Fanatic Jackets in both EV2 and Cover

Jacket is really warm, nice features. Had the EV2 jacket for 3 years, but felt like the EV2 pattern limited my use. When Sitka came out with Cover, made more sense for me. With the Fanatic in Cover, I usually pair it with my Stratus bibs. The Cover pattern also works well with my Subalpine stuff.

Well made and comfortable

Upon purchase this seemed like a great outfit for a base layer pant and exposed or base layer top. Unfortunately I purchased an XL which typically is my size with Sitka gear. The pants were too large in the waist. The top was loose and still wearable but changing to a Large is a tighter and better fit

great fit! the kangaroo pocket is way better than i thought it would be. the shell feels extremely soft and should be absolutely quiet!

Finally, Rain Gear I’ll Actually Carry

Really excited to retire my old USMC Gore-Tex for the Dew Point. My old rain gear worked, but it was heavy and bulky enough that I didn’t always want to carry it. The Dew Point is lightweight, packs down small, and is something I’ll actually keep in my pack. Hunting in the PNW, having reliable rain protection with you can make or break a hunt, and this feels like exactly the shell I’ve been looking for.

Pursuit Pants

Great fit and inseam for us shorter guys. Will be paired with my fanatic hoodie for early season hunting. Comfortable and the fabric has a bit of a stretch for climbing stands.

Awesome hat

Been rocking the trucker style hat before this came out. The fit and fabric on for this cap is more comfortable and feels more like an athletic fit. Also breathe, wicks, and repels moisture better than the standard hat. A must have to add to the collection.

Fantastic

Been holding out and finally caved in and purchased the Fanatic hoodie for early season hunting. The fit is spot on and love the kangaroo pocket. Warm enough for morning sits and will be used as a layering piece when the temps drops. This is probably the most versatile piece of gear for the entire season.

Great mid season layer

My daughter loves hers in EVII for deer hunting and it keeps her warm as an outer layer or as a mid layer, got her marsh camo for the upcoming duck season.

Mesa Pant

To start I'm 5'8" 215lbs. I normally wear a 36-38 in pants. Went with 38s and I have room for a base layer if i wanted. I prefer a looser fit in wast then something that is to snug. Not sure if the 36s would of worked but glad i have a little room to work with. The overall look and quality of the pants a par for light weight pants. Very comfortable and stretchy material but not fleece quiet. So far for me there are only 2 downside and 1is the inseam is to long for me. Thay work but would be nice if they had a shot option with a 28-30" inseam for us vertical challenged folks. And 2 the pocket on the left outside lag seems strange and not useful but have not used it yet. For now I give it a 4 stare. Just not enough use yet to see durability and overall usable over different activities and weather conditions. For the price I would like to see them with the shorter inseam but overall I'm so far happy with them. I would also buy again and might after more use. Hope this helps

This jacket is very perfect for my uses. Before the season starts, I have been using it hiking. It has been light, packable and breathable, making it an essential item to my gear closet

Ambient 100 Hooded

The inside lining feels amazing. It is a lining and not a backing so you do have two materials rubbing together at times. The overall fit is good. Im 5'8" 215lbs with a 28" draw. I got the xl. The sleeves are a tad long on me but must xl tops are. The cuff helps with that. The longer tall section is nice when sitting or bending. The outer material is not as loud as a puffy and only slightly louder than a fleece mid layer. It seems like it will be somewhat breathable also. The hood has more of a from fitted mid layer style with a stretchy rim on it. It helps keep your peripheral view unobstructed and works well with a ball cap. Its been summer time since I received it so no field experience yet just in my AC cooled home. Its to much to wear for my with just a cotton tee if I'm active in 62+ degree weather. I think this will work great early and late in the day for archery elk hunting and anything else when it's below 60. If it's still as good as i think after using this season then well get a solid color next year for day to day. So far it's one of the most comfortable/cozy jackets I have put on for any brand hunting or not. For now I would give it a 5 start for what it is and intend to be used for. That might change after this season but only one way to find out. Hope this helps anyone out and if not get one for yourself and be your own critic.
