Love it.

Fits great and very warm.

These won’t last.

Tried these on, washed in scent free soap and the elastic on the top has already started to wave. Meaning they are already loosening and I haven’t wore them yet.

Jacket is amazing but.

What I’m not impressed with is the base layer thermos. I washed all of my clothes after trying them on and the waist bands on the bottoms/pants have already started to wave. Tried it on for 10 seconds, washed it and it is already lost its elasticity. Not Sitka quality.

Great Jacket

I really like my SITKA Traverse Jacket. It’s comfortable, warm, and versatile enough to wear every day, while also being a great layer for duck hunting. The material is quiet, which is important when hunting, and it allows me to move comfortably without feeling restricted. I also like the overall quality and fit. It’s a little pricey, but the comfort and versatility make it worth considering for anyone who spends a lot of time outdoors. Overall, I’m very happy with this jacket and would recommend it to others.

Zipper broke on first wear super disappointing

The first time my wife wore these the zipper broke. For the extremely high price we pay for sick gear I would’ve expected significantly better quality. Because we’re in deere season I went ahead and ordered another set so I couldn’t so I wouldn’t miss any hunts. So far, so good on the second pair.

Disappointed in how loud material is

For the extremely high price I would expect material would be used that was quiet. Sounds like I’m wearing a paper bag or something walking into the woods with this stuff on very disappointed and I bought two sets one for my wife and one for me so we got $1000+ in rain suits that are just too loud to wear into the woods

I’ve never been so disappointed with something that I bought from sitka

The way that it’s depicted on the page was nothing like what it was when I got it. It almost seems like it’s just a thin piece of waterproof plastic. I was amazed at Sitka even offers such a cheaply made piece of clothing.

Nice pant

I’ve only wore them a couple times. They are very lightweight and comfortable. Seems they would last a while.

This jacket keeps me warm and I still have a good range of mobility in my arms and shoulders to shoulder my rifle or crossbow. Absolutely love this jacket.

Warm but not wind proof

You will still feel a bit of the chill from wind through these. Mild weather wind at best.

Great pants, I have owned them since they dropped. I wear them all season, my only recommendations would’ve been add the mesh for vents and possibly tick protection at the ankles.

Bulletproof

Fantastic pants. Super durable and waterproofing where it counts for those cool dew mornings. Will be getting solids for next years moose hunt 100%. I’m 5’ 9” and 175 lbs. , ordered the 34R and they fit great. Vents are wide open not mesh but are super efficient and dump heat very well. Great job, Sitka.

Great bag! Deceiving, lots of room. I can almost pack two sets of layer clothing and still close the bag comfortable. I love that they do all the patterns in the bag, also.

Advertised as “built to take

Advertised as “built to take a beating, this bag is engineered for the toughest travel plans. ” It ripped in half on the very first hunting trip I took it on. It didn’t even make it on the first plan before being ripped in half.

Unusable after 3 hunts

These boots could have been the best boots on the market. I don’t personally jump on every product that claims to be the best but I also have no problem investing or the right gear to stay warm and comfortable. I wore these boots THREE times and they developed an overwhelming chemical odor. I noticed it after the first use and thought maybe it was me as I put in some steps that day. I have never had a problem with my feet or boots smelling and I work construction for a living. Unfortunately these are extremely light and comfortable but the smell is ridiculous. They are unusable deer will wind you in a heart beat.

I purchased these to wear under waders but find myself wearing them everyday. The fit is great and I love the material.

After purchasing the Alpha Fleece

After purchasing the Alpha Fleece pants to wear under waders duck hunting, I decided to also purchase the hooded jacket. I absolutely love the material and weight. The fit is good and should keep me comfortable in the early season.

Comfort

The Merino Wool is a must for my feet. Regular o. d hunting socks don't cut it. So far I'm enjoying the comfort of this item.

Better than I expected

Hunted for over a week in okanogan area. Great fit, lightweight, quiet and lots of pockets. Camo pattern was perfect for the area. We got the job done and so did my sitka gear!

Replacement

Lost my old best, purchased another one. It doesn’t feel the same honestly. I loved the magnetic pocket, but it no longer has the magnetic front breast pocket, instead a zipper. The vest also seems thinner, and stiffer. 🤷‍♂️ Miss my old vest.

Quiet and warm

I hunt in the adk mnts of NY. I'm 56 and only hunted these mnts since I was a kid. Im 4th generation to hunt this area. Im a tree sitter and it's not uncommon to have it below zero middle of November. As I get older the cold makes it harder to sit long hours. I only take mature whitetails and Im a couple miles off the beaten path. This gear packs really nice as I walk in at dark in only light clothing so I don't sweat. This morning it was 27F. degrees. Im anxious to see how well it keeps me warm as the temperature drops.
