Some of the best hunting pants I've ever owned!!

I purchased these just before the 2026 spring turkey season in a size 32R, and they arrived quickly. At first, I almost returned them because they fit fairly snug, but I decided to keep them — and I’m glad I did. I paired them with my Core Lightweight Hoodie, Ambient 100 Hooded Jacket, and Equinox Hunting Vest for the crisp, cool mornings in Missouri. After several ground sits in thick brush, I never had a single tick on me. I also wore this same setup — minus the Equinox Vest — while assisting in dense wooded searches over several days for a missing child in our area. Even while walking through some of the thickest timber, weeds, and brush, not a single tick made it onto my skin, despite many others in the group being covered in ticks for days afterward. I’d also like to highlight the durability of these pants. I walked and crawled through heavy briar patches, thorns, and thick brush without any visible damage or wear. I will definitely be purchasing another pair and highly recommend them for any outdoor application where insect protection is important.

Go to base layer

I bought my first sitka base layer last deer season. I immediately thought why hadnt i upgraded a decade ago. Comfort of these pieces is next level. Worth the investment all day long.

I wear this on cold spring mornings while i walk. Keeps me warm and i dont over heat. Price brings upgraded luxury that a discount jacket cant compete with.

You get what you pay for. Great shirt for under sweatshirts so your skin can breathe. Also great on walks so i dont over heat with a jacket on. Just cant say enough good things about these shirts. I find the fit to be spot on im a bigger guy and cant stand tight clothes. This is a great product

Super lightweight

Very thin material, but it is nice for running and gunning. I used it this past season and on the cool mornings I wore my Marino 330 core under it and it worked just perfect.

I have a few pairs

I have a few pairs of these shorts. The only complaint is that they stain very easily and tough to clean. They are very comfortable!

Had perviously, just dog just outgrew smaller size. Great collar. Heard complaints off clasp coming off but haven’t had it happens once. Been using it for over 6 months.

Intriguing piece, happy with it

The Ambient 100 feels like a niche top but after actually receiving it, putting it on, etc. I could see wearing it all. the. time. It is warm, super-light, and trim but not tight. I ordered a Large and it should be perfect inside waders, under a vest or heavier outer shell, and even alone during turkey season or cold mornings fishing, which is exactly what I was hoping for. I can draw a bow and mount a gun without it feeling tight. For reference, I have a 45" chest and 38" waist (32. 5" sleeve in dress shirts), putting me right in between sizes on the size chart (5'9. 5", 210lbs). Before it arrived, I was worried I should've ordered an XL but for what I am looking for - a high performance, non-bulky mid layer that can be a light outer layer in shoulder season conditions and go on every trip with me, I'll stick with the Large. I wouldn't wear a button-down shirt or anything underneath that would bunch up, but with a shear-fitting long sleeve base layer like a Core 1/2 zip, as I'm planning, it should be great. If I have an initial complaint, the hood stands a little tall but snugs down if I pull it down a bit in the back. Is it dead quiet? No, but it is pretty darn quiet and sufficient for my intended uses.

Awesome pant

I used it on a Bear hunt in Tick infested Idaho. Did a great job of keeping ticks from crawling up my legs. The sleeve material worked great stuffed in my socks or in my boots. 🥾 I used them for the whole hunt and they did a good job of not holding body oder. The side zips were great and didn’t let any unwanted bugs in. I will be buying another pair of two for future hunts.
