Perfect so far

Took it on a bike ride during a half rainy day. Perfectly dry and the pit zips let me breathe well. Didn't over heat, not the same as hiking, but plan on testing that too.

Excellent design and workmanship

Haven’t worn in heavy rain. Certainly beads light rain well without any seam leaks. I purposely bought xxl to allow plenty insulation room. This is my only rain jacket for hunting and cold weather fishing. Though it is early in testing, I am confident in the Dew Point gear. I just wish it was less noisy.

Great lightweight jacket! Field tested this spring for steelhead and spent many hours in absolute drenching downpours and jacket performed perfectly. Emerged from downpours dry and warm. Water sheets right off jacket as expected. Money well spent!!

I fish from a kayak year round. I chose this jacket for being lightweight and made of goretex. Mine is big enough to layer up underneath in the winter and light enough to wear in the summer as needed.

This jacket is perfect to handle the early season rains in the southeast. I went outside during an intense rainstorm to fix a fence and this jacket kept me dry.

This is what I wanted

This is what I wanted in a rain jacket. It has plenty of air flow, packs small, has no insulation, repels water 100%, and cinches at the wrists. The storage is more than adequate for my needs. I had to order an XXL when I normally wear an XL.

Fit me terrifically. Enough room to throw a warm layer underneath but not too baggy if I wear it alone.

Very waterproof, I've worn in

Very waterproof, I've worn in several heavy downpours. Good coverage, could be a few inches longer to cover your backside. Very lightweight and packable, nice venting. Cuffs are a little snug but it helps to keep the water out, velcro works well. It's not a hunting jacket - not quiet (unless you're just sitting), but it's not promoted as being quiet so that's ok. I'm about 162lbs, 5'8" with a slightly athletic build and it's a little tight in the lats and shoulders when zipped - only one or two layers underneath. But it's not promoted as an insulated jacket so if you're just looking for a super waterproof shell that's funtional and stylish, this is a nice jacket. If you're athletic or stout I would order a size up. Wish it had one chest pocket, either in or out.

Perfect rain jacket

Perfect for in the field or daily use. Athletic fit. Moves well. It breaths great and doesn’t feel like a sweat suit many other rain jackets do. Easy to use vents. Turret hood works great. This is the last rain jacket you’ll need.

Very comfortable, lightweight and 100% waterproof. Also blocks the winds in the most extreme wet conditions.

Nice jacket, but not that much different than cheaper options

Nice jacket, but not that much different than cheaper options. I would probably prefer this jacket over cheaper rain coats slightly as it is a bit lighter but for the extra $300+ it is not worth it. It is not that much quieter and lighter. I returned and will be using a much cheaper jacket for very similar quality.

Great light pack jacket

Bought for use in moderate to heavy rain either over a puffy in colder weather or stand alone when warmer. Jacket is lighter than I thought but has remained waterproof through a couple of long, wet days out in the field and it also wicked fairly well considering it was essentially inundated the whole time with the heavy rain. Dries out very quickly and packs small which is an added bonus. Got the size 2XL which has arms long enough for me at 6’7” tall. No complaints with this jacket!!

Best functional jacket and pants

Used this set in relative hard rain but not yet in an extreme hunting condition. Looking forward to it! Great fit and and performance.

For the amount of money I spent I expected a thicker material. Seems like a $40 Colombia jacket would be better. It is nice that it has pit Zips and can pack down small.

Dew Point Pant

Material is more quiet than you would expect out of a lightweight rain pant. Sat through two days of downpour in Tennessee and never got wet! Great pants! Pack away nicely in the pack, forget about them until you need them.

Lightweight protection

Lightweight and does a great job. Normally I wear a medium and have lots of other Sitka in medium but I had to return this for a large mainly due to the cut in the arms and shoulders. I am an “athletic” build.

Absolutely love this straightforward hard outer rain shell. Durable gore-Tex is perfect handling tasks lighter jackets don’t stand up to.

Bomber Rain Gear, Light and Packable!

True to Sitka, this rain gear is absolutely lights out bomber with a great yet functional, minimalist feature list to be ultra efficient and effective at its intended job. The Dew Point Jacket is so well made, so effective at keeping me dry, and so light and packable there is never really a reason to leave it out of my pack. I highly recommend the Dew Point Jacket as it seems to be a higher quality with better fit and finish that other rain gear I have had and used in the past.
