Best early season shirt

I like this shirt so much I now have it in sub alpine and elevate. I wish they made it without the hood in multiple solid colors so I would wear one everyday. It’s the best early season shirt I have ever had for Oklahoma. I normally wear an Xl shirt and in this shirt I wear a Lg.

Bug Free

Hoodie performed well. Wore it in northern Michigan woods. Bugs were around no bites through the material. The material is lite weight very cool and enjoyable. Just stay out of the briars with this one.

Recently hiked the Wind River Range of Wyoming where the mosquitos are currently off the charts. So glad I bought and packed my Sitka Equinox Guard hoodie. Ended up a lifesaver, at first for hanging around camp, then for sleeping in it and for the last day for actually hiking in. I had been going without because of the heat but the last day I wanted that extra bug protection, and I was pleasantly surprised that the hoodie was cool and comfortable despite 90ish heat.

Extremely light!

This hoodie was a fantastic addition to my lineup. It is lighter than even the core lightweight! Fantastic piece. Definitely note that the tail is longer than the core lightweight, but that helps it stay tucked in!

At 5'4 150lbs athletic, perfect

At 5'4 150lbs athletic, perfect fit. Only giving it 4 stars because it doesn't have much resistance in the way of thorns. I've only used it once and already had a few threads ripped out. Probably one of those things where I'd just replace it after a couple seasons. I really like the built in facemask into the hood, one less thing to have to carry/manage. The weave and permethrin treatment seemed to block mosquitos from biting through the fabric. Great hoodie, just recommend being mindful around thorns.

The equinox guard hoodie is such a versatile piece. You can use it perfectly for early season deer hunting as well as turkey season. 10/10 product.

Have not hunted it yet, but very impressed with the lightness and functionality. I like the features of the thumb loop and the ability to wear head or face covering that is built in. The insect repellency is yet to be tested though. But I fully expect it to help in that regard.

Excellent insect protection. Mosquitoes buzzed my head the whole time but not one bite. No ticks either! It does run pretty big, especially in length. I got a M and its bigger than the L lightweight hoodie.

I'm looking forward to going out this season in this hoodie. It's light and breathable. I'm sure I'll be comfortable in the saddle after my walk in the woods.

I love this hoody, it is super lightweight and comfortable in addition to its insect shield and polygiene capabilities. I bought this piece for turkey hunting but it has become my favorite fishing top as well.

This is my go-to summer shirt. I keeps the sun and the bugs off. This is my third one in various colors. I use a large for early season bow hunts. It fits but the XL fits just a little looser and is more comfortable for everyday wear.

Excellent ridge runner!

This is the best lightweight run and gun hoodie that I’ve found. It is the best for running up to the tops of ridges and working your way down in the sun. I’ve purchased multiples.

Wears a little loose so if you want a tighter fit maybe one size down . No bugs or ticks while wearing and I hunted almost everyday of spring turkey season . I have 3 of them definitely worth checking out .

It was a perfect fit in the shoulders but way too big around the torso. I’m 6’ & 215 lbs. I also didn’t like the fabric, I sent it back & got a wool 120 shirt instead.
