The vest is very light and thin but insulating. Great piece to layer without getting bulky

Initial impression is very nice

I got this for early elk season, to break the wind in the mountains and for light rain. Super lightweight, super packable. I have it 4 stars just for the fact I’m still testing it out. After my elk trip in the Rocky’s I’ll update the review and see how it holds up, curious to how it does hiking and with the temp fluctuations out there. I will say it’s tight around the shoulder and mid section so I did go up a size then normal and that fits great. More of an athletic wear.

Only disappointed item of sitka

First off the feel just seems cheap compared to all my other Sitka gear, snags easy, super afraid of getting it caught and tearing it. Would only use it as a mid layer if you had to have it. The fit is extremely small, definitely go up in size. The inside scratches my skin, I work construction so I have dry and callouses and the material feels horrible on them. Definitely better options from Sitka than the ambient line. I got XL like everything else and even 2xl was tight in the shoulders and mid section

Best system Sitka offers: stratus

Just like the stratus bibs and jacket it’s another Awsome piece, j love to partner it with the fanatic hoodie. When it’s not super cold but you just want something to break this wind a bit this is my go to piece. Super quiet, very comfortable, couldn’t ask for a better vest or system

Decent hiking shorts

The waist fit true to size, I do find that the crotch area is a little tight and around the thighs, wish there was a little more room there but other then that they fit and feel great

Favorite all around hoodie

I wear this soon as the temps fall below 60. This is my favorite piece of gear that I wear all season long. Great outer piece and it’s also a great mid layer to. Holds up well, super quiet and versatile. Couldn’t be more pleased. Size XL

Great all around hoodie

Picked up 2 of there’s and they are super comfortable, there a great all around hoodie, pretty warm, quiet and easy to move in but also looks nice to wear out and about.

Great for warm weather and light brush

I love the guard line up, another tool to use to help battle the insects. Super lightweight, easy to move in, climb sticks or mtn sides. I will say they are not meant to be busting through heavy brush in. Great for the early season deer and spring turkey. Waist is true to size but they are tight in the thigh area

Best warm weather hoodie

This hoodie does amazing in warm weather, I use it for early deer season, elk season and turkey season in the spring. It’s not 100% going to keep the insects off you but it definitely helps and just one more tool to use. I wear this shirt probably more than any other that I own from Sitka l. The guard line is definitely a favorite

Comfort & versatility

This is a great camp jacket. But I intend to use it while glassing too. Warm enough with wind blocking capability. Love it.

Blistering warm

Everything about this jacket build is warm. Seems solid. The face fabric is fairly loud, though, making it less suitable for hunting and more for ice fishing, etc.

This thing is soft, warm, comfy and just looks great overall. Very happy with my purchase!

Run narrow.

I have purchased many Sitka products over the years and everything else seems to fit true to size. I have wide feet but some boot manufactures run wide like Lacrosse. I am sure the boots have a break in period being leather however they were too uncomfortable to even try. I also thought the insole didn’t provide enough arch support and really wasn’t soft enough. My friend has the boots and loves them. I had to return them.

Fits and looks good

Overall happy with it. It is expensive for what you get but that's any outdoor brand unfortunately. We'll see how long it holds up.

Great product

Not often you make it through turkey season / early Spring without picking up a tick. The insect shield functionality in my experience, worked exactly as intended!

Quality product

Solid design and holding up well in East Tennessee mountain streams. Would like if the D-ring clip was a bit larger for waders. Overall the boots dry extremely fast and are very comfortable.

These shoes can go toe to toe with your favorite running shoes. Strong enough to be worn all day in the field or out running errands. I’m waiting for other colors to drop!
