The best jacket I ever had!

Perfect fit!

Great shoe, just a tad long

Measured my foot and got the correct size according to the size chart but the shoe is still just a bit too long. Other than that it’s an amazing shoe and I still wear them hunting.

Replaces the Mountain Pant. Zippers are unnecessarily loud.

Similar to their former Mountain Pant, but in a lighter material and hip vents added. Pros - hip vents, weight, durability (TBD but seems okay), & good fit. Cons - the Zippers are crazy jingly (one reviewer suggested cutting them off and reinstalling the pull tabs only)! The knee articulation is a bit on the baggy side.

Solid brush busting pant, but NO knee pads!!

Solid new pant from Sitka. Feels like a cross between the Timberline and Grinder pants. The "reinforced seat and knees" is half of the material unlike the Timberline which had more dedicated material areas. Pros - Hip vents are awesome, durable material, good color selection, & fit well. Cons - No knee pads included! Feels like Sitka skims you here for the price paid. No cord included for the hem eyelets aka built-in gaiters. Loud material, cargo pockets stick out a bit, & expensive. I used them for mountain grouse hunting on my dirt bike with no problems.

First purchase of Sitka for the upcoming season. Can’t wait to use it.

Nice Shoe, Poor Fit for Me

I put on the shoe and and didn’t immediately discomfort but after wearing for ~10 min in the house found that the upper sides by where the laces go through was too high and dug into my ankle. I could tell that I’d have sore spots/blisters if I kept wearing them so ended up returning unfortunately.

Very comfortable sweatpants. Wish they came in talls as I am 6’1-2” 190lbs with longer legs. These will work I think as I will work short boots with them most of the time. Usually I have to order a large even though I have a medium (31-32” waist) because I have larger legs. Note that the crotch is short. Will see if they are worth the comfort, they are really expensive to have these issues.

My Favorite Item

The Ambient 100 is my favorite piece of Sitka gear. It is soft, light weight, and comfortable. It's a great mid-layer or can be worn as a top layer. I first wore this during turkey season under a Jetstream jacket at about 32 degrees. I was surprisingly warm for having such a light pairing.

I used these gloves on

I used these gloves on a recent goose hunting trip in Canada. They were great in the warmer temperatures and allowed me to reload and operate my shotgun easily.

Why is it not waterproof also?

Good jacket but not complete

Impossible to get on

You buy “laceless slip on” boots and shoes for the convenience. If you have an armload of firewood, you’re not kicking these off in the mud room. I’ve fought with them enough now that the top is trashed. So much so, that I cut a slit in the back of the neoprene just so I can get them on and off.

Perfect balance of weight and durability

Roomy thigh pockets for rangefinder and bow release storage. Vented legs were easy to use and needed!

My new favorite shirt. I use it at home, when hunting and at the range. My wife doesn’t love but I do.

Fits great, silent

Bought a size up on purpose, fits great over my regular pants as I wanted. Stretchy and comfortable as well as silent enough for stalking.

I purposely bought a size up for layering. Fits perfectly over my regular hunting jacket and even my oversized fleece. Only thing is that it’s a bit noisy when moving but it doesn’t bother me too much since I’m rarely that close when taking a shot.

A little surprise and I wear it all day

Still don’t have time to go off road hiking, I have Hoka Speedgoat and Altra Olympus, it’s comparable. Go to REI compare with Salomon Ultra 5. Well, the traction of Ascent win. A few better design and applications on this shoe. May develop another version for Zero drop or carbon shank next.

Excellent size

Love the size. The back pack straps are perfect and user friendly to take off. Material kind of stretches which is nice I can fit all my gear. Zippers are really smooth
