Performs as expected. Fit is generous weight is perfect. Great casual sweatshirt.

Better than expected

It is supposed to be water resistant. Its better than resistant, it is phenomenal in the rain and wet weather. Fit is good its a hair on the trim side compared to the standard Sitka Hoodies. The o ly reason I didn't give 5 stars is, for it to be water resistant means it doesn't breathe very well.

Perfect Jacket

This jacket weight is perfect for those who run hot but still need an extra layer to break the wind or start the morning

Great Quality

I had been eyeing this jacket for a while. I sized up to a medium to have some extra room to not feel constricted with under layers. When I tried it on, it was comfortable, spacious and quiet. I look forward to using it this big game season.

Sizing issue

I love the pants but my biggest complaint with any Sitka bottoms is the length of the pants. I’m a 6’ 5” 300lb guy that where’s a 40x36 or 38. Sitka pants do not come long enough for me and it is my biggest complaint. I love everything about there gear but I cannot stand the pant lengths.

Great base layer!

Excellent base layer for any hunting season. I love the built in face mask and the merino wool is comfortable, dries quickly and doesn’t get stinky like synthetic material does.

Great jacket

Recently bought the jacket to go in my pack for a September elk hunt that was rainy and 75-80 degrees days. Jacket kept me dry was not to loud and was light weight to fit in the pack. Will be using on the offshore boat in the spring and summer for rainy trips out and in offshore.

New favorite pant

Really like the flex in the pant. Lightweight, comfortable, flexible. Absolutely my favorite pant in the closet.

Ascent Shoe Review

The only issue I have with these shoes so far is the pinching at the base of my small toe when kneeling down. As the tip of the shoe folds at the toes, the shoe crimps, at the toe causing discomfort.

These are legit!

The Sitka Ascent GORE-TEX shoes are an incredible piece of hunting gear. They’re lightweight and comfortable like a trail runner, but still provide the stability and support I want when navigating rough, uneven terrain. The GORE-TEX keeps my feet dry when the weather turns bad, and the traction is outstanding on slick rocks, mud, and steep terrain. I really like the locked-down fit and cushioned ride, especially on long scouting trips and early-season hunts. They’re light, nimble, and built to handle whatever the terrain throws at you. Definitely one of the best hunting shoes on the market.

Best High-Viz Vest

This is by far the highest quality and best fitting high-viz vest that I have found. Very adjustable. No need to size up for layering if you’re hiking in the mountains.

Bought these for my son, who is to big for youth sizes, but not big enough for the size 32 waist, which is the smallest size offered.........smaller sizes would be nice.
