Upside down zipper

Luv the pants only negative is the side zipper is upside down in my opinion. Hard to zip up with no resistance and continuous to unzip after walking a couple of miles. Would make more sense to have it zip up pulling zipper down so it has resistance and wouldn’t unzip on its own as easy.

2f.7 Dakota vest

I have been looking at the Dakota vest for while and caught the 2f.7 one on clearance. It’s really nice and looks good just wearing around. I have not used it under my waders yet but have worn it for archery elk. I have some gorewear(rip) windstopper items that I have been layering with for hunting and windstopper just works the best for me. It’s the most breathable and best protection from the wind available in my opinion. Im 5’10” 185lbs and lean, the large fits perfect over a shirt or sweatshirt.

Really durable and just like most waterproof shoes they do fit snug-like, so not going to be your most soft and comfortable shoe. After breaking them in should be fine.

Good boot for working around the farm and early season sits when it is still warm out.

One of my favorite things about Sitka is that virtually none of the products catch on rough working hands. The side zips dump a lot of heat, but leave you exposed. It’s a design decision I suppose to not have mesh for added bulk.

Little more room….

Picked this up as it appeared to have a better strap configuration which it does than the older model, but when I got it my 10x50’s leave a larger gap when closed up and latched. These are a very popular brand of Bino and it’s shocking they don’t fit. These older model fit these same binos without a problem. If you run a 10x42 or smaller Swar or Leupold I believe they would fit, but not on the bigger brother. That’s why I would give it 4 stars as the rest of the pack is really well made and I like the accessories attachment points.

Pro Pants

Decided to add these to my selection of pants I already have for those wet days or pushing through snow. The fit is perfect and the details of lace clips and how the legs are cuffed ensure no snow or rain creeps upward into your pants. Zipper vents add to the versatility of dealing with heat while hiking in.

Great jacket to keep stuffed in my top compartment of my pack to grab when I stop to glass when it’s cold out and needing an extra layer.

Excellent pants, but not thorn repellent

Love these pants. 6’1” 230 athletic and normally wear a 35-36 in waist and got the 36 in waist. Just walked/hiked 13 miles in them through the woods. Only complaint is that it was my very first wear, and they have fray or thorn markings (damage)already.

I love these shorts. I ended up buying two pair and would have purchased a third but they were sold out in my size in the third color. They fit true to size, feel great, and are built solid. I wear them almost every day.
