Love-hate experience

Packability with the Mountain Hauler 6200 is top tier but when you draw that long awaited tag and bump the 🐏 cause the pack said here I am 🤷‍♂️. . . why so loud Sitka! Literally, I love everything about this pack except for the annoying squeak reveal. Adjust and adjust the straps all you want 📣 still there. Ive noticed that ambient temperatures can increase or decrease the audible from the pack. The only upside to this pack while adding to your pack out for spot & stalk or run & gun hunts. . . it'll remind you that you'll have to move slower (like <. 5mph) to conceal the squeal. If you plan to glass the ⛰️ and/or prarie or tree stand hunt and don't plan on moving the pack till you've made the shot :black_square_stop:, just know going in your ability ti remain hidden will be surely tested. Definitely a powerhouse hauling system, but the audible squeak is a real stealth tradeoff. It excels in stationary or heavy-haul scenarios, but it can work against you when silence matters most ⚠️

I love this harness!

I use this guiding in Yellowstone during the summer and it really helps to keep everything organized and accessible. It is also really comfortable and I am not what you would call a small skinny guy. I even layered up for a -20 Degree day in the fall during hunting season and still had plenty of room. . . I can't wait to use it this upcoming elk season.

I think it's a Winner!

Lightly insulated and 100% waterproof! A little snug in the shoulders but eliminates the need for an extra layers in most cases. I wear an XL and layer underneath a heavy base and mid layer i. e. Ambient and Traverse but wouldn't be able to put a duck oven underneath and still feel mobile. A 2XL would be too big in the middle for me but would accommodate heavy layering.

Warmth

Extremely warm jacket, very compact but warm. Also fits perfectly. Can wear it without a lot of layers but can still fit an ambient underneath. Overall amazing jacket totally recommend. Wind stopper and warm pockets make it crucial for the cold mornings in the marsh.

Fit

Fit is very good no need to size up if layering underneath. Sitka layering system is great when it comes to this jacket. You can wear it without a lot of layers and you can wear it with layers. For example I have a duck oven I can wear underneath it still can fit an ambient. It is very breathable in spots it needs to be. Not tight under armpits. Overall, amazing jacket

Size

I normally wear a large. Need XL to fit in your gear or a size up. That’s why I selected runs small. Same with pants, normal is 36” waist, need 40 .

Not true to size

I wear a 40 waist and neither of these shorts are even close to being comfy. Material looks great, but since the return process is not great i give it one star for being sized wrong.

Runs small

Ordered my husband a size 12, which is his normal size, but they are too small length wise. When I tried to return/exchange them it cost $44 in shipping!

Tech Tee

The material on these shirts is incredible. Any moisture on them that is hit with a breeze gives a cooling feeling. I’m sure they were intended for the field, but this is my go to workout shirt.

Everyday Pant

These are nice, high quality sandals. They do run small, I’m usually a 10. 5 shoe the 11 were way too small but the size 12 fit great. I wear them often.

Sun hoodie

Great hoodie in the sun and heat. Breathes and dries as expected. Spot on sizing compared to my other Sitka gear. Large 6’- 215 lbs

I have a bunch of Sitka gear for hunting and fishing, and a couple of these hats that wear all the time. They fit great and look sharp.

Great quality and perfect for early season/hot weather

This is my second pair of these pants. I used a pair last season for Archery Elk and they were awesome. The stretch to them is nice and they dry out pretty quick and keep you cool. I wear a size 34 waist in all my other pants and these fit without issue.

I am 10. 5 size and they fit me great. They are the opposite of bulky and fit great on my boots

Comfortable

Everything is great except the toe webbing. The edge rubs the toes to the point of a cut. Possibly just my foot structure.

Shoes are great for breathability, but waterproof and light. Hard to put on as the ankle is very tight.

Patch Kit

I tore two small holes in my Dew Point rain pants on a bear hunting trip. The patch was easy to apply, and went on smooth, with no wrinkles and the patters was a perfect match. Would definitely recommend having this in your gear room for emergency.

Comfortable Boots

Very comfortable boot. I typically wear a size 10. 5 in most hunting boots, but because I have a narrow foot, I purchased a size 10 and they fit perfectly with regular socks. For colder weather and heavier socks, I would likely need a size 11. Overall, these have become my new favorite hunting boots. They're comfortable right out of the box, and I’m seriously considering buying a second pair specifically for cold-weather hunting.

Ive had a Hudson for

Ive had a Hudson for almost 10 years now and at the blowout sale price figured I should add another. Workhorse duck hunting and foul weather fishing jacket, only way to describe it. I'm 6'2" 215 and the L Tall fits perfectly with a meribo base and fleece midlayer underneath. A puffy vest would also work but arms get tight after that. The new Dirt color is really sharp in person, will be my go-to winter steelhead coat and of course rompin' in the duck slough.

True to size. I use it over the long sleeve shirts and it keeps me nice and warm on those cold mornings. Easy to stuff into your pack without taking up much space.

Well constructed and long enough to tuck in your shorts, so you don't get the side eye from you wife when you go out.

Love these shorts

Bought one pair - after wearing/using, picked up three more in different colors. Very comfortable for work (not field work) or play/exercise. Only thing that I would add is a liner so that you can skip the undies.
