Love these pants. Sitka seems to do clothing that can satisfy everyday wear, work wear, and hunting pursuits well. I definitely wish they offer more pants in the 'tall' sizing, but these fit perfectly.
I'm 66 years old and have turkey hunted in North Alabama for over 35 years. This vest is perfect for my style of hunting. I carry 2 pot calls, a few strikers, mouth calls, owl hooter, crow call, and a can of bug spray in the box call pocket. The inside pockets are for pruning shears, face mask and gloves. I use a Camelbak water system in the backpack. I carry a small first aid kit, Dude Wipes, and anything else that I might need on the days hunt. I chose the dirt/brown color because I wear several different camo patterns during turkey season and I like the solid brown color. I've had 4 back surgeries and the seat is very comfortable and easy to manipulate while moving from place to place. The Sitka quality is way better than all my other turkey vests. I recommend this vest for the series turkey hunters who have figured out that you don't need to carry 20 pounds of gear while turkey hunting. Good luck and hunt safe! 🦃
This is my 2nd jacket of this type. I need a little larger size and when it came on sale I ordered it. Great fitting jacket. I really like the color too!
Outstanding waders for my Alaska guide work. The knee pads slots are awesome!my only bummer is first day I put a sharp rock through the knee. I patched it quick with the provided repair kit. The knee could use a tough putter protection layer. Great waders . Zipper front does not leak and the way to go
The Sitka Core Lightweight Hoody is my absolute foundation of my waterfowl system. Made of a lightweight, 100% polyester stretch knit, it acts like a pump to wick sweat away from my body ensuring me to stay bone-dry and avoid a freeze later
Its short cut is perfect for deep wading, preventing the hem from soaking up water, while the athletic fit offers me unrestricted shotgun swing even when heavily layered underneath.
These waders were great for 2 years until both sides started leaking. I’ve sent them in 3 times and Sitka can’t stop the leaks and refuses to warranty them. They are now having me send them in a 4th time after having wet feet and legs for 2 years. With pictures and videos to prove it that I’ve submitted to them. The waders leak bad and are absolutely disgusting from having muddy water in them for years every time I use them. Save yourself the headache and buy a pair of waders that are backed by the company that sells them or get cheap ones that will last 2 years before having to replace them with brand new ones at 1/4 the price. Sitka gear is not who they used to be.
Great pant! These are definitely more on the lighter side when compared to the Timberline or Mountain pants. Great pant for travel to and from camp or a hunt where you won’t be busting brush or heavy cover.
Got these boots to replace my year old boots from Simms that are super slick. The metal cleats gripped great. I wore them with my Simms waders and they felt great. Not too heavy but really protective on the toes and comfortable. No slipping in the same river I had just been struggling to wade with old boots. Bought boots in same size as sneakers.
The Rover GTX LTH are excellent shoes. I purchased them as a replacement for XtraTufs due to my feet hurting in the Tufs after a long day on the boat. The comfort and fit of the Rovers is amazing. They fit great and are a secure fit versus a basic deck boot. They are styled so they can be worn out and about in everyday use and not look like I just stepped off the dock. The leather is a bit more prone to staining particularly in the buckskin colorway. I have ordered another pair in Obsidian as well as the regular Rover in green since I have been very happy with them. Sitka has done an amazing job with their footwear line as I also have the Back 40 boots which are the best “muck boot” style boot I have ever worn.
The footbed is very soft and comfortable. The strap that goes between the toes is too large for my feet. It was uncomfortable and rubbed through my skin.
I love the packability of this jacket and the pit zips are a must when hiking in warmer weather or when layered. Looking forward to testing this jacket out in the field this fall.
Love this Jetstream Jacket. Nice stretch, weather resistance, pockets & light insulation that makes good alone or as a shell. Roomier than previous models.
Only 4 stars cause of the fit. Felt a little around waist, then slims down to upper thighs. After that fits was great. Comfortable, warm, and blocked the wind nicely.
