Stratus and jetstream are my all time favorite do everything jackets. The newer models of the stratus are very quiet (the older ones were a bit noisy). The only thing I would change is adding pit zips (like the jetstream has). Fantastic do everything piece of gear. I size up to make room for layers. A XXL allow me to wear a puffy under the jacket without it getting tight.

Perfect addition to for mid-late season

Can’t go wrong with this piece. It does what it says and does it well. Perfect for modern gun and bow hunts - especially if the wind picks up.

I haven't used it yet but it seems to be a very well made jacket. It definitely runs small from my previous purchase of the bibs. As a result I went up to an XL and it was perfect with room to layer

Have been wearing one of the original Stratus jackets for about 8 years or so. Finally the sub alpine pattern was offered in this line. Just had to pull the trigger since my first one works so darn good!

JUST RIGHT

Here in South Texas on the coast, the weather might be mild compared to North Texas, but those cold fronts can still have a bite to them, especially early mornings. That’s when I pull the Stratus jacket and pants out and settle in for a comfortable yet mobil hunt.

Solid Coat

Bought so I can layer with it depending on temps. I sit for a long time in a ground blind while deer hunting. With a nice base layer and a flannel this keeps me nice a toasty. It also keeps me warm without adding too much bulk while I pheasant hunt. My last winter hunting coat was too bulking and messed with my length of pull during the late season. Needed something thinner and warmer. Sitka is definitely worth the money.

Amazing Feel!

Got this as my first sitka jacket and all i have to say is it feels amazing! It’s soft and the micro fleece will definitely help when it gets colder again. Great jacket

Jacket is awesome definitely wind proof fits true to size.

Size up when in doubt

I normally take an XL but sized up for potential layering and mobility considerations. XXL fits perfect and allows for good arm movement when climbing into stand and drawing bow. Jacket is comfortable and well designed for archery stand hunters.

Stratus Jacquet -great gear

This jacquet is very well cut. Fits slim but can also put a warm layer underneath without feeling bulky. The brushed exterior fabrics is very silent, more so than my Jetstream. Great job Sitka.

Jacket fits great and allowed me to comfortably fit layers underneath. I’m layering with baselayer, fanatic hoody, and ambient jacket. I’m 5’10, 155lbs and I wore a medium.

First hunt with my Stratus!

I took this jacket to northern New Mexico on a coyote hunt. This performed extremely well! Zero wind penetrated this and it kept me warmer than expected. I'm going to be buying the matching pants for next season as well.

Super Quiet and Warm

I just used my Stratus jacket for the first time doing some post-season scouting / cleanup and was pleasantly surprised by how warm and quiet this jacket is. Love it! It is true to size but remember to buy a bit big to fit layers underneath in late season.

Excellent Jacket.

I can't believe how light it is. This jacket combined with the ambient and the fanatic hoodie replaced my old Cabela's jacket. The system as a whole is just as warm at probably a third to a quarter of the weight of my previous jacket alone. It's windproof, and I love how the hood secures to the top of my head so it doesn't shift. All in all I'm impatient for next deer season.

Like the pattern for late season hunting. Love how quite jacket is and how wind resistant it is. Also how well it sheds water. Only complaint is please make it with a double sipper!!

It’s getting hard to find Sitka that fits. I’m a big guy 6’4” tall 314lb . This jacket in a XXXL is a perfect fit.

Amazing, wind protection, and silent.

5’10” 215lbs 47” chest size. Fit is just slightly snug in XL to layer under with thick items. I’m saying it fits ever so slightly small for my size. I wore this in 35-45 with wind and high humidity and needed to add some heavier insulation. It is great for 55-60. Will need heavy base and insulation for 45 and below with wind.

Great Jacket

I use it in Nova Scotia Canada and it's the perfect all round jacket. I start using it mid October for bow season and keep it on dill the end of November (with proper layering). Great for stopping the wind, and nice and silent. I would recommend getting the Stratus bibs over the pants to proved more warmth.

A really nice jacket

I bought this jacket for early season bow hunting. It is not insulated but has Gortex Windstopper. It sheds light rain, which is the most I'll hunt in. The microfleece on the inside and outside is very comfortable and quite. The hood is detachable and there is a pass-through for a safety harness. The zip pockets are all in the right places. This should be worn with a core lightweight T, and as it starts getting colder, a Fanatic hoodie and a Traverse jacket. I switch to the Incinerator coat once it gets cold here in Central Illinois.
